I'm not even complaining about what they are doing, because this is who they are...they raise taxes, they increase spending for deadbeats...
The problem is that around election time, they hide who they really are, and too many of the American people fall for it.
Dem's are going to raise taxes around 1 billion dollars in the state of Wisconsin alone. (It's at 750 million at the moment, but just wait and see).
Doyle ran on a campaign of no new taxes...so I think that would qualify him as a liar...
I know dems like to use that word, now use it in the correct context.
Dem's, tell us who you really are at election time:
1. You WILL raise taxes
2. You WILL raise spending
3. You WILL try to implement socialized medicine.
4. You WILL give more hand-outs
5. You WON'T stop illegal immigration
The list could go on...I understand why Dem's have to pretend they are something they are not during election time, cause if they didn't, no one would vote for them.

Ok - let's look at point no.2 and 5 from your list. Do you remember what Republicans promised and still are promising? But, you pick only on Dems!! Can you tell me why?

We know this trick, Game. We understand this setup Republics pass the biggest tax cut in history, but make it lapse on a certain date so it won't look like it costs too much. Then, they spend us into oblivion, start a war that's costing half a trillion dollars so far and then when the Democrats refuse to renew this catastrophe, they are accused of "raising taxes".
It's a lie.

Sure, and I'll do it all day long. It's not a matter of want, Game. It's a matter of alternatives to the financial disaster that Bush and his sycophants have wrought through their spend and cut taxes insanity.
These guys have spent our grandchildren's money. The quality of life of my children and grandchildren are in jeopardy. If it takes an increase in taxes, including mine, to change that, I support it. I don't want it, but I understand the need to do it.
How can anyone have a conversation when one side keeps repeating the same old irrational crap?
