Senate Democrats condemn Limbaugh

link
I guess you have to do something to make the American people forget that 72 percent of them think you suck at your job.

More stories of intolerant liberals trying to silence any talk that they do not agree with. Which side is full of intolerance. All evidence points in one direction. Anything that is not liberal speech is hate speech.

San Francisco supervisors condemn Savage
Hate speech=not liberal speech

First off, Reid's letter and statements on this issue have been 100% correct and on target.

Secondly, Mays should not be made out to be the typical corporate scumbag, because he is not (or, at least, so I have been told by several people).

He is more honest then most, but his position with Clear Channel requires him to make some sort of statement at this juncture, and he did. His responsibility is not to the people, or the press, but the stockholders, and Mays' statement was exactly what one would expect.

I actually sympathize with him, in this situation.

""I really for the life of me cannot understand why there is not more media outrage to what Michael Savage said," Sandoval said. "

In my opinion, I think Sandoval would be very surprised to find how many San Franciscans, never mind Americans, found at least certain elements of truth in the Savage Wiener's little rant (or at least parts of it)...

I believe he severely underestimated the level of exasperation that folks in that area feel, whether privately or openly, about the illegal alien crisis.

I also think he may have overestimated the amount of support he could expect (even if one takes a pro-amnesty attitude on illegal immigration, Sandoval really comes off as a future candidate from political office, making his bones off a passing controversy).

"Which side is full of intolerance."

Actually, yours, which has been evidenced by your support of the neocon destruction of Air America, your own defamation of anything but the most extremist right-wing news sources, your willingness to delete comments containing dissenting views and those defending themselves from personal attacks, and your total hostility toward non-neocon commenters on this blog in general.

That would be extreme intolerance toward liberal and progressive Americans, and you have it in spades.

I'm extremely uncomfortable with Congress demonizing private citizens. This would be like Republicans taking time out to collectively say things about Kos, Dan Rather, Olbermann, Soros, and so forth. If we did this the left would definitely call us fascist.

I wish the Democrats would take dark age religious fanatics as seriously as they take chubby radio hosts.

"I don't "support" air america going off the air...I love the fact that it sucked ass, no one listened to it and it was taken off the air..."

Exactly. You're willing to lie about AAR in order to support seeing it pulled off the air by moneychangers, you hate everything AAR represented, you do not believe liberals, moderates, and progressives have any right to programming that reflects their views, and you've spoken disparagingly of the Fairness Doctrine in the past.

In other words, the neocon stranglehold and monopoly of the airwaves suits your needs, and you support that, because you don't believe in opposing views, dissent, or free speech for all Americans.

Be honest, for once.

I wish neocons would take dark age religious fanatics from other religions than Islam as seriously as they take fanatic religious Muslims.

game,

Maybe do to hash as hash wishes to do to conservatives, take him off your air.

The Game said...

He is very annoying, and I think much of the time he hinders debate...not sure if I want to outright ban him...it is tempting at times...
My blog is not protected by the first ammendment.

"...how do I respond to such stupid comments..."

Well, frankly, I'm in a bit better of a position to be familiar with what really happened at AAR, so my advice to you would be that you should respond by researching independent and dissident sources rather than just conservative blogs on the issue, ask questions about what you do not understand, realize that there are aspects to the issue you may not have been exposed to or been open to in the past, and address your points of disagreement one by one.

That would be my advice on how to respond to a comment or opinion that you either disagree with, or do not really understand.

Game,

Just start telling hash to get the mental help he so desperately needs.

Again, there are more Democrats that need public condemnation than going along with this baseless smear of Limbaugh.

On the bright side, this just proves the Democrats have NOTHING for 08 as they are scared about their Anti-American, Anti-Troops actions and rhetoric hurting them up and down the ticket, therefore they have to make a hyper-boogeyman out of Rush
