I don't have any hope of this being anything more than a diversion from the Liberal prejudices that created this scandal. At most, Nifong will be pilloried, but not the 88 professors who rushed to judgement and persecuted the Lacrosse team on their own.
I highly doubt that. The book that forms the basis of this HBO special is highly critical of the 88 professors and the Duke administration. Since their collective action in large part framed the situation, it would make sense for the 88 and the administration to play a part in the special.
