US reports ‘phenomenal’ drop in Iraq violence

And as good as this news is, I heard this past week that a British outfit has reported that Iraqis are returning to Iraq in large numbers due to the drop in violence. The average number reported was either 1000/week or 1000/month, I'm not sure which. Either ain't bad.

A bit extreme you say? Perhaps. What isn't is that they want any Bush failure anyway they can get it. If that means leaving Iraq to the likes of AlQaeda, it'll do. Call it a talking point if you want to, but it's based on the reality of the situation.
