How does the GOP measure up right now?
Before I even type this, remember that someone like Obama will get put through the ringer if he is the candidate for the Dems...but as of right now:
Obama versus:
Romney 53-35 ouch
Huckabee 47-42
Giuliani 48-39 I can't believe this
McCain 47-43
Thompson 52-36...again, ouch
Clinton:
Romney 46-44
Huckabee 43-48
Giuliani 42-46
McCain 42-49
Thompson 48-42
So Hillary is LOSING to three of the five...which is why conservatives want her to be the nominee
Edwards:
Romney 50-38
Huckabee 47-41
Giuliani 44-45
McCain 42-46
Thompson 35-51
So, at this time, Romney and Thompson lose to everyone, Huckabee, Giuliani and McCain can win...and I guess Obama is God right now. I guess the good thing about that for the Right is that he is such a weak candidate that the numbers would be sure to change.
What are your thoughts?

One thing going for us with Obama is that he supported some very extreme stuff in Springfield. He won't remain St. Obama for long.
McCain is our most competitive candidate, given he has yet to drink the nativist Kool-Aid, and polls well in the Southwest and among latinos. I'm supporting Giuliani right now, but also would be happy with McCain batting for us against Chavez and Ahmadinejad, given the alternatives (i.e. Grandma Clinton, the trial lawyer, and the Marxist professor.)
