Early Iowa Results

Obama 33.93; Edwards 31.83; Clinton 31.56
Huckabee 35; Romney 24; Thompson 14; McCain 12

So....Did Iowa teach or show us anything?
Not sure
It shows that Obama is for real and Clinton is no sure thing....I still think Edwards will win the nomination.
It shows that there are a lot of conservatives who must only care about abortion and gay marriage, since Huckabee is only a conservative in those two areas.....or did the Dem's cross lines to put Huckabee in the lead?

the number of democratic voters was twice that of republican voters so i doubt any dems crossed lines to vote for huckabee.

What I didn’t know, and what I find crazy, (ridiculous, Insane) is the fact that a person whom votes for what’s considered a loser in the early going, is able to change their vote and in essence jump on the bandwagon of a leader.

The question begs to be asked. What good is the caucus if you can change your vote?

Let’s see what’s going to happen.

Many have suggested that Hillary’s campaign has set up a battle, to make it look like she’s tough. “Ooooh, look what Hillary overcame.”

Many have suggested that Huckabee is the ideal Republican candidate (in the liberal’s eyes) because of his evangelical background, we can’t possibly (no way, under any circumstances) vote for HIM, he believes, therefore he is dangerous! Not just dangerous, but downright scary (uber, double secret, frightening)! He’ll be forcing us to convert don’t ya know! There’s nothing scarier to a libweenie. Screw getting shot down in the street, to hell with living in fear, bump the pitiful state of the inner city and our schools, that means nothing, NOTHING, when compared with having a man of faith as president.

Me, I’m not convinced, even though I consider myself a (gasp) semi-evangelical, Huckabee’s record is too questionable to a dyed in the wool conservative. I’m still leaning towards Thomson, Paul, or Hunter.

game,

First off, there was a bus of students from Nicollet in Milwaukee at the caucus in Dubuque. I'm assuming that is a high school. It was too crowded for me to circulate over to them when it was announced they were here.

Edwards and Clinton took it in the shorts at the Caucuses. Neither did as well as they were boasting.

McCain did better, but I don't see him on the ticket.

The Dems were too busy with their own knitting to spare people to mess up the GOP this year.

Blamin,

The Democrats have a rule in their caucuses that a candidate must have 15% of a precinct or they're not counted. That candidate's supporters must move to another candidate's group to make 15% or more. Usually the caucusers are bullied into joining the biggest group as there is no secret ballot. You publicly stand for your candidate.
