Barack Obama is going to be your nominee?
I have heard this before but I will repeat it here.
An Obama win would show how liberals make decisions based on emotion.
Obama makes them feel good, makes them happy, they like him.
He has been a US Senator for two years and is extremely unqualified for the job. He has said a list of crazy things when it comes to foreign policy, including the fact he will talk with terrorist leaders personally and leave Iraq about 45 seconds after he takes office.
I guess the media could be so in love with him he would still win...lets be honest, no one is very excited about any Republican.

you keep talking as if somehow emotion is a bad thing. what qualification did bush 43 have? governor of a state in which the governor has very limited power? basically a failure in every endeavor after college?
but he gave up drinking, had no foreign policy experience (basically never been out of the country), and everybody said he seemed like a nice guy. they'd rather have a beer with him that vice-president gore or kerry. seems kind of emotional-based there, doesn't it?
nixon was much more qualified for president than jfk was, but jfk had charisma that nixon could never have. and jfk was a leader. he made mistakes to be sure, but he was an effective leader who picked the best and the brightest to serve in his administration. he represented change, youth, the future. that's why we were so devastated when he was assassinated.

name a candidate on either side with a chance who hasn't said something as "crazy" as anything you seem to think obama has said.

I just heard your very own Gov. Doyle endorses Obama. Obviously we're missing something if this giant of intellectualism is behind him. What a loon.
Obama is less experienced. But, he certainly sounds 'real' than Hillary. However, Obama has turned more aggressive recently, which I think is going to backfire on him.
As to Republicans, I still think Huckabee has probably the likeable 'personality'!! All others are either patheic(McCain, Fred), fake (Romeny), silly (Rudy) or extreme(Ron paul)!
Your picking based on personality? How is that intelligent? You couldn't possibly know for sure the personality of an individual by such brief and situation specific episodes such as debates. Sure, it has influence, but it shouldn't be great when it comes to picking leaders. Am I reading you wrong here?
