Fulton to pay students in after-school program

That's what you get when you have liberals running inner city public schools.
Don't teach hard work
Don't stress the importance of an education
Give up!....and pay students to do their work
Except what happens when they come and don't do their work
Do they still get paid?
Who decides what is enough work?
If they make some grading system for pay, how do you know bleeding heart, destructive to the inner city community liberals will not simply give the kids good grades so they can get paid.
See the problem?
Once again, liberals think they are doing what is right, but just like every other program ever created by liberals, it is simply a hand-out that further teaches dependence on the govt, and no responsibility for themselves.

I keep thinking that libs can’t possibly top their last hair-brained idea. Then I read something like this and realize their imagination knows no bounds. Never, ever under estimate the ability of a liberal to think of new and creative ways to F’ things up even worse.

I wonder how many of the upper achievers, the ones that are succeeding in spite of their environment, will be tempted to do less than their best in order to have a chance to be paid to improve?

You can be assured those whom are promoting this program considered this scenario. And here you see through to the truth of the matter.

Equality of outcome is the ultimate goal of the modern liberal, more important than equality of opportunity. “We’ll just give unreasonable incentives to the under achievers, at the same time we’ll push a few over achievers to be less than they can be.”

Despicable!

liberal programs never raise anyone up to a high level, they give them just enough to get by, while knocking down the achievers and successful people a few rungs.

At our school as long as we gave all visitors a meal and some kind of hand-out gift we would get some people at our programs and conferences. If we didn't have food ,drink and hand-outs only a couple of people would attend.
