I loved living in Hawaii, but this story shows how small time Hawaii actually is..
They never look at the big picture, and they always have budget problems because they are the "aloha" state, which means big government, high taxes and lots of failed programs.
They don't have money to improve dorm facilities for their students let a lone sports facilities.

Well, the Hawaiian people can hopefully look outside at how beautiful it is so they don't get too mad that they have let achievement and success pass them by yet again...
Just wait until they lose the Pro Bowl (its coming).

Wow, you think Hawaii is losing the Pro Bowl? That would be huge. I'm just wondering how much money that brings into the local community there.
What would be the reason for them to lose the Pro Bowl? Have they not updated the stadium enough for the NFL to keep having it there?
Thanks,

It is a fact that the Pro Bowl can be moved for one year per the contract. The NFL thinks it can be a global sport (which it can't).
They will move it to either England or some Asian city, then it has to come back for I think 3 years. I think in this instance it is not really Hawaii's fault, even though it doesn't help they complain about how much they have to give to the NFL and Aloha Stadium is a poor stadium. It might just be the comish making another bad decision and Hawaii being in the middle of nowhere.
