Romney Suspends Presidential Campaign

Well, the last "kind-of" conservative is gone.
Now you either vote for McCain or don't vote at all...

Feel sorry for far-right conservatives like you, man! You guys never had a good candidate to begin with. As I have said before, at least Dems are honest about who they are.

Also, republican base gets all worked up only when there is a sense of 'fear'!! Now that both 'terrorism' and 'illegal immigration' have taken a back seat, there is hardly any energy!

You radical right wingers are so out of the mainstream that you are fighting against a (supposedly) moderate, sensible conservative. America has rejected your radical agenda, as evidenced by the complete and utter rejection of any candidate that even pays significant lip service to your ideology.

Who can blame them? look at what "conservatism" has brought us over the past 8 years- A crumbling economy and infrastructure, stagnating wages for the middle class while the wealthy see their incomes soaring, record high deficits a weakening dollar, record high fuel prices with no significant movement towards ending our addiction to oil, and a growing hatred for our country all around the world.

WHAT!!!!
Lets see the Dem candidate go out and talk about raising taxes, and we will see how much they talk about leaving Iraq immediately once they are the nominee, the list could go on and on...
If a Dem wants to get elected to national office, they ALWAYS move to the right in the general election.

I'm demoralized because our political leadership wants to lose for the sake of purity.

McCain is for school choice, personal retirement accounts, free trade, free market healthcare (he was one of the few to vote NO on prescription drugs), pro-life, pro-gun, pro-Israel, pro-democracy in Iraq, and pro-killing al Qaedas, including making OBL a priority again.

In addition, McCain has an amazing biography.

Yet all the conservative leadership can do is shit on McCain because McCain is willing to compromise with Democrats on issues like immigration, the environment, and taxes. BFD.

I don't get what the problem is. The Democrats are about to seize defeat from the jaws of victory ***again**, and we're like, "nah, we want you guys to win this time." I simply don't understand the McCain hate at all.
