I saw this story on the local news and immediately sent an email to the news channel...
By ALL accounts except the criminals, this guy resisted arrest, tried to flee and almost dragged the officer to death.
ALL, ALL, ALL witnesses agreed with the police officers account...but how does the news lay it out??? The officer is to blame. Then (my new hero) the police chief ACTUALLY STANDS UP FOR HIS OFFICER and even goes as far as to reprimand the Hmong group for going after a good cop.
And who is sticking up for the criminal.....no surprise, the ACLU. Even more than that, they are saying the police chief shouldn't stick up for his officer...
Why should he kiss the ass of a group that is in the wrong??? I guess simply because they are a minority.

game, game, game, you've linked to an article that does not in any way say or even imply that the aclu is defending the perp. it is defending the community's right to protest the police department.
if you you are going to try to smear somebody or an organization, at least link to something that actually supports your smear.
Ahmuty said the Hmong community has a right to peaceably protest what they believe to be an instance of police brutality. "...the chief's apparent disdain for the exercise of the rights of assembly and free expression are quite alarming," he said.
Whether the views of the protesters turn out to be accurate or their demands reasonable, they have a right to express them, he said.
Let me explain what that means, since obviously you are willfully ignoring it...
The ACLU is saying that even if the Hmong protesters are incorrect about the incident, they still have a right to peaceably assemble and protest. He was not quoted saying anything defending the criminal, therefore, the title of your post is a lie.
I know you hate our American freedom of assembly and speech, but, there it is...
part of that is true...anyone is allowed to protest...
But the ACLU spokesman also gets on the police chief for calling this what it is, which is an attack on a police officer...
they want to defend the race baiters who are wrong and not the correct police chief
"But the ACLU spokesman also gets on the police chief for calling this what it is, which is an attack on a police officer..."
can you show me where this is shown?
