Chinese-Americans rallied outside CNN's Hollywood office on Saturday to demand the firing of commentator Jack Cafferty for calling China's goods "junk" and its leaders a "bunch of goons and thugs."
This is what liberal PC does to our world. You can't say ANYTHING that offends anyone...even when it is true...unless the person is white and Catholic.
So we never talk about any minority issues, meaning nothing can ever get done, nothing of actual substance or important will ever get addressed. It is sad, because the only way to solve problems is to admit there is a problem and talk about it. Well, in the liberal PC world, you are forbidden to talk about it.

For the record, I agree with much of what Cafferty said. However, you are way off base with your post.

So, you are complaining that these people were exercising their freedom of speech and assembly in a peaceable manner.
Tell us, why do you hate America? Two of the most important rights we have enshrined in the Bill of Rights are the right to assemble and speak our minds.
You are criticizing these people for doing exactly that.
Cafferty said something that they disagreed with, and they protested peacefully.
And as far as your point that only white Catholics are allowed to be criticized, I don't know what news media you've been watching, but I have been seeing nearly non-stop criticism of the Chinese since the before the Olympic torch was even lit.
okay, maybe I jumped the gun on this one...
I am guessing that SOMETHING will happen to punish Cafferty...the problem is you might not ever know about it.
I don't have a problem with the protesting...meaning they can do it if they want to...
However, I can comment that everyone protests anything that makes people upset, even when it is true.

I would agree not just about debate, but art as well. I think artists should be free to push the envelope, even if some people are offended.
I know what you are getting at...and offensive art is fine...but not when tax payers foot the bill...
