Obama can't be this stupid, can he?

With all the comments he has made, along with all the factually inaccurate comments...he is either very stupid or a liar, or both.

Barack Obama must be the most gaffe-prone politician in memory. Today, he delivered a Memorial Day speech in New Mexico. After greeting the local Democratic Party dignitaries, he began:

On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.

In one of his more egregious and easily demonstrated lies, made even more so by the day he decided to let it loose on, Obama has rewritten WWII history such that the allies liberated Auschwitz.
Obama also spoke about his uncle, who was part of the American brigade that helped to liberate Auschwitz…
Auschwitz of course is in Poland. It was liberated by the Red Army on Jan 27 1945. Poland, on most maps is usually placed to the east of Germany, although we may need to investigate the geography textbooks the Messiah used as a child

I got this in an email today...I'm sure its from Malkin or something...but come on!!!! This guy is either the dumbest person to every run for President or is a bigger liar than both Clintons put together...

But to the Media is he brilliant, articulate, a genius!!!!

Why do the “elite” support Obama?

I’ve a business acquaintance, Matt, that’s considered a genius because of his unusually high IQ (“exceptional” parents, the prodigal son and all that jazz). He has friends among nuns, priests, professors, doctors, and politicians. He teaches classes on eastern religions and existentialism in his spare time.

He’s a huge Obama supporter. Now the mixing of politics and business is normally taboo, but I couldn’t resist. “Why do you support him?” I asked. “Because he gives hope to a people badly in need of hope” he replied.

I thought about his reply for a minute, and said “but it’s all empty rhetoric”, I explained how I realize that politicians who promise/tell the people what they want to hear, the best, usually get elected, but that doesn’t explain why, he (Matt) supports him.

His reply? “We have a real opportunity to change the basic understanding of how society, not only in this country, but the world, perceive they have to operate. “

Me being the uncanny businessman that I am, blithely nodded my head and let the subject drop.

Just so you now, Matt, although a genius, cannot operate his business profitably without the constant supervision and oversight of his partner. He constantly gets into financial trouble for merely overlooking mundane but important details. He’s expert on the marketing end, but woefully insufficient, not just insufficient, but to the point of malfeasance, on the operations end.

wow, blamin' and i'll bet einstein couldn't balance a checkbook. you have no point.

Let me make this clear for my “friends” on this site.

As is always, the elite in this country think they know what is best for you, and are perfectly willing to support the candidate that will best give them the opportunity to force their agenda onto you.

We might want to get out the textbooks from the 2000 campaign for some comparison. I seem to remember an earlier candidate who made equally ill informed statements on history and current world leaders.

Who's the president of Pakistan? "Some general."

Let's see...
Who is the President of a country?
vs
Where am I?
Do I have an Uncle?
Where are states on a map?
How many states are there?
When was I born?

The fact that you even attemp to compare these two shows how partisan you are and how you are unable to be objective in your thinking...

The point is anon, the so-called intelligentsia that support Obama are representative of liberal-socialist policies. Their theories sound fantastic, but the practice/realities of their ideas are often destructive.

Blamin,
That was boring! You would have supported Obama if he was from Republican party! Honestly, party
loyalists like you should stick to what you do the best - support your party. Why are you picking on your 'friend' Matt ? Let him believe in 'hope'! After all, we all need some 'hope', don't we? I am supporting McCain with the 'hope' that he would drop his insane comprehensive immigration plan!! If I don't have the hope, I wouldn't be voting for anyone in this election!

American,

You need to forgo the mescaline when responding; maybe you’ll be a little more lucid and accurate.

I wouldn’t support Obama if he were from the libertarian party. What an amateurish joke he is!

I’m not picking on my “acquaintance” Matt, merely pointing out his mindset, which apparently you can’t comprehend, you must be one of the numbed followers instead of one of the leaders within the democrat party. BTW my son believes in the tooth fairy, after all, most kids need some hope, don’t they?

I’m so happy that you “support” McCain, I wouldn’t support that sorry excuse for a potential president if he were running by himself (which he almost is) the only way he could make himself less attractive would be to appoint Lindsey Grahm as VP. Just so you know, support doesn’t mean vote (sorry ya’ll, I’m talking to american, such distinctions have to be made), I’ll vote for McCain in a heartbeat over anything the Dem’s offer up!!!

Ameracnist,

As is usual you missed the whole point. Matt doesn’t “believe in hope” he believes he’s better suited to decide for us what’s in our best interest. As is typical within the Dem leadership.

I believe any serious politician that takes that mindset is the biggest threat to our liberty this country has ever experienced. Unfortunately, there are way too many with that mindset.

I call them an “enemy of the state”, a threat to our welfare, an assault on our liberties. You can excuse, defend, our whatever else your pansyass requires of you. Myself, I'll do everything within my power to defeat such evil.

Ya, I can't say I "support" McCain, but I also don't support someone who doesn't know anything about American history, doesn't know where states are on a map, doesn't know how many states there are, doesn't know that Memorial Day is to honor DEAD soldiers, listens to a racist pastor who hates America for twenty years, is married to someone who has hated American until ten minutes ago and is friends with a terrorist who bombed the pentagon and is happy he did it...I'm sure will be able to add to the list soon...
Oh ya, and someone who thinks religion is equal to hatred for illegals and racism

blamin' could also have said:

"As is always, the [far right, christian right, moralists, congressional republicans, take your pick] in this country think they know what is best for you, and are perfectly willing to support the candidate that will best give them the opportunity to force their agenda onto you."

blamin said...

Anonsense,

What a perfect way to avoid the issue. With a “no – you are” argument?

Your contention is that the “radical right” is attempting to force their views just as much as the radical left?!

Does the radical right control the public school system? Does the radical right force their views upon the main stream media? Does the radical right control the welfare system?

No?

Yes?

So lets let it all hang out; who do you support?

Blamin,

That was even more boring!! However, I have to give some credit to you for being very predictable like any other party 'loyalist'.

When I say, I support McCain in this race, it means I 'vote' for him in this race, got it? (I understand how too much of talkradio can affect your brain!)

As to your 'enemy of state' - you seem to fit the definition pretty well. You seem to think you are very smart and know what's in our best interest! Dude - May be, it's time to fight your own 'evil' inside before pointing at rest of the world!

Someone must have called american "boring" and now he uses it to label others. How boring.

Anyway, "...the [far right, christian right, moralists, congressional republicans, take your pick] in this country think they know what is best for you..." and they have a good track record to back them up.

Hope. There's real hope, and there's false hope. Barry's supporters suffer under the latter.

you bet your f**kin' bippy!
