Barack Obama laughs off charges of socialism. Joe Biden scoffs at references to Marxism. Both men shrug off accusations of liberalism.
But Obama himself acknowledges that he was drawn to socialists and even Marxists as a college student. He continued to associate with Marxists later in life, even choosing to launch his political career in the living room of a self-described Marxist, William Ayers, in 1995, when Obama was 34.
Obama's affinity for Marxists began when he attended Occidental College in Los Angeles.
"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully," the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in his memoir, "Dreams From My Father." "The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."
He has been like this for a long, long time. He has surrounded himself with people that a VAST majority of Americans don't agree with. Wake up America, you don't have much time until Obama is allowed to start "changing" this country into the "fair" country and takes from the successful and gives to the needy...

Are you scared yet? You and your babies are about to live out of a box! Not so scary for me cuz we are close to that already. It sure isn't from lack of trying either as you guys love to rationalize. Oh yes, as a person that makes under 30 thou a year. I PAY INCOME TAX!!!!!!!!! I have years of returns to prove it. You lovers of the wealthy think they are the dieties in the world or something. Like you are going to be one yourself someday and you are hanging the drapes. This world and country is for all of us. Not just the wealthy. Your attempts toward others to pitty the rich is falling on more and more deaf ears and more and more join the rest of the working poor.
from the washington post:
"Our sense is that Mr. Obama is a man of considerable intellectual curiosity who can hear out a smart, if militant, advocate for the Palestinians without compromising his own position. To suggest, as Mr. McCain has, that there is something reprehensible about associating with Mr. Khalidi is itself condemnable"
Especially since Mr. Mcwar gave nearly half a million to Mr. Khalidi and his cause.
No Ron, we don't think of the wealthy as deities. We think of them as employers, producers and providers. Until I'm wealthy myself, I resent idiots like Obama raping them financially, thereby risking jobs. The wealthy are good for the nation. We need more of 'em. Good thing there are plenty of books and courses and such that can teach the rest of us how to increase OUR wealth. Too bad there are too many who aren't willing to do what it takes to get there. If you're content at your current status, that's cool. Just don't go expecting others to take care of business for you. If you're not content, and would like to improve your station, get busy and keep looking for that which you can use. Then YOU can be wealthy and give all your profits to charity.
Marshall, I agree, we need more wealthy. Until we start paying more people real money for their hard work instead of chinching every penny in labor costs they can and then taking it for themselves we will continue to have fewer rich and more poor. Don't even start with that S*IT about pull your bootstraps, try harder etc. I and many othersmake HUGE efforts. How many college grads are making low wages? Many. I know them personally. How many work two jobs or job and school. Many. It's like you guys don't even know poor people because you sure misrepresent them wildly. I've gone to two post high school education facilities and work as hard as anybody in my business to be sucessful. I have raise ratings and income in every station I have worked at. What have I got from it...nothing..Barely a living. I can give you references that I am an exemplary employee. Nothing. I'm glad your world works like Norman Rockwell but mine and many others doesn't. It's pretty frustrating to hear you preach what life has proven to us is a falsehood.
