Minnesota Ripe for Election Fraud

Minnesota is becoming to 2008 politics what Florida was in 2000 or Washington State in 2004 -- a real mess. The outcome will determine whether Democrats get 58 members of the U.S. Senate, giving them an effective filibuster-proof vote on many issues.
When voters woke up on Wednesday morning after the election, Senator Norm Coleman led Al Franken by what seemed like a relatively comfortable 725 votes. By Wednesday night, that lead had shrunk to 477. By Thursday night, it was down to 336. By Friday, it was 239. Late Sunday night, the difference had gone down to just 221 -- a total change over 4 days of 504 votes.
Amazingly, this all has occurred even though there hasn’t even yet been a recount. Just local election officials correcting claimed typos in how the numbers were reported. Counties will certify their results today, and their final results will be sent to the secretary of state by Friday. The actual recount won’t even start until November 19.

um, they are checking ballots that didn't scan correctly or were otherwise not read by vote-counting apparatus. 700 votes is nothing. There are thousands of provisional ballots not yet counted.

i know the repugs are trying to slime the sec state to deligitimize any recount. well deal with it. a recount is mandated by law.

think about 2000 and 2004 and then look up schadenfreude.

absolutely, but when sixty-one ballots turn up in someone's CAR, you've crossed a line where suspicion goes from being natural and normal, to a moral imperative

so much of this is simply revenge for the 2000 irregularities, i'd support it if only the democrats were interested in correcting the crookedness of the past, rather than just adopting the fraudulent ways of the opponent, in order to steal "what's mine", by any means necessary

but, that's why so many of us lifelong democrats have left the democratic party, among other issues

Stealing a presidential election and stealing a US Senate election are hardly on par. I'd say a fair turnaround would be at least 15-20 Senate seats.

TerryN said...

Stealing any election is fraud. But I continue to hear dems downplay it like it's no big deal. "Just a few votes", "It's only one senate seat".
Let me repeat myself. Stealing any election is fraud.

But what a dumbass for only "finding" 61 votes in his trunk when he could have won it for Stewart Smiley. Must have been his democrat sense of guilt. "A few votes hear and there ain't no big deal."

Dems are sounding a lot like Team Bush in 2000 down in Florida. Nearly word-for-word. FYI...it's not called "stealing." The correct parlance is "lawyering."

Bush won Florida in every recount. Get over it for Christ sake!

anon proves why liberalism is a mental disorder...terryn is exactly correct...but liberals don't care about facts and the truth...anything it takes to win is the battle cry

Anonymous said...

Yes and I'm sure Terry and Game will be quick to get over it when Franken wins "every recount."

Liberals don't care about truth and facts!
Pretty much summarizes the partisan hatred and 'intellectual dishonesty' of the blogger. How can anyone make such a statement putting all liberals in one category?

Oh well - don't bother answering. It's only a rhetorical question.

Intellectual dishonesty..wow...now that is an incredible "thought"....
imagine that....

game, game, game. are you learning impaired? listen up terryn. game is absolutely wrong in his claim and yours that bush won florida in every recount.

first of all, there never was an official recount. second, gore won several of the recounts conducted by the media consortium including a full recount of all counties and precincts. he lost the limited recount scenarios that he had requested.

so stop with the LIE that gore lost every recount because it is simply NOT TRUE. game knows it because i have pointed it out with links and citations ad nauseum. to continue the lie is either dishonest or delusional.

which is it game?

Every media outlet admitted Bush won every recount accept one...its fine, most liberals showed their lack of objectivity and intellecutal honestly for the last 8 years...
I'll show you how its done here, like I have for a few years now.

This is a good example of why I find your outrage over election irregularities insincere game. Anon and I have both given you places to go to refute much of what you deny. It's only liberals that cheat.... Sure, how old are you, 4? When you are worried about ALL election problems I will join you. Until then how is it possible? Only if I want you guys to win everytime. Homie don't play dat.

homie also have a problem accepting he be wrong

i mean, you is wrong

oh, whatever

Bush won Florida and it's now a moot point. Try as he did Bill Daley, (From a family famous for election fraud.) couldn't cheat his way to a win.

If Stewart Smiley ends up winning it's fraud. Counting votes found in the trunk of a car? Pulueezzee..

"Under several scenarios examined by the consortium, and using a standard in which two of the three reviewers agreed on the markings on each ballot, Gore emerged with more votes than Bush. "

Your concern is laughable considering that your party's electoral success depends in large part on making sure as few people vote as possible.

It's incredible that after my forty years in education that people --ron don't see or realize how childish it is for supposed adults to call other people children...doesn't this site use enough one syllable words for your benefit..that certainly is something that might help your pathetic point of view..these points of view certainly should remain "anonymous"...sorry...maybe
too many syllables once again...why
not come back again with I never have nothing to say..whem I have explained my posts to you too many times already...why not explain my posts to your thoughtless anonymous incompetents...maybe you
can handle that accurately....

let's face it, two clowns like franken and coleman cannot possibly provoke such emnity, it's rooted in something deeper, something very midwestern, and the identity thereof

fyi the votes in the car thing is FALSE, like untrue.

check it out.

uh, the story i heard, pertained to sixty-one votes

either way it's symptomatic of a nightmare situation, the fact that both candidates are pathetic is just the tip of the iceberg

americans no longer have faith in their electoral system, or anyone who presides over it

thank you for playing, but hardcore lefty partisans are no longer one iota above their wingnut counterparts, in my eyes

Wrong about what? My opinion?

Another ebonics deficient hash non sequitur(patent pending)

Scorp. I call them as I see them. I see people pretending that all on one side is proper and correct and all on one side is evil. In my book that is at the very best naive. Only children could possibly be as uneducated as that. It's pretending at least and denial more likely. Only when we agree that we have a universal problem that we have to solve together will we get an adult solution.

Hash makes sense and a good starting point for fixing the problem.
