Ruin Your Health With the Obama Stimulus Plan

Its Dems being Dems.
The laughable thing is that I call Dems on it before it happens, they spin it because they either really believe the talking points (which makes them stupid) or they don't care as long as they get what they want...

Here are the Dems trying to push through something that is at the heart and soul of liberal ideals...universal health care.
They are afraid that if the American people actually saw what it was they wouldn't want it...so like many of their views, they push it through either through the courts or slide it into other bills.

Go ahead, tell me why an economic stimulus package should have restrictions on what doctors do to treat illness?
If the Dems care about this so much, make it public, put it out there and lets see what everyone things.
This is a slim ball tactic..but they don't care because they will get what they want...

Socialized medicine is about increasing the power of the Party. That's it. If the government can dictate our healthcare decisions, it can dictate anything to us. For example-- "You're obese? No healthcare for you! Who cares if you can pay! Go to the end of the waiting list!"

"One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective."
"On April 27, 2004, the President issued an Executive Order creating the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology."

"Hospitals and doctors that are not “meaningful users” of the new system will face penalties. “Meaningful user” isn’t defined in the bill. That will be left to the HHS secretary, who will be empowered to impose “more stringent measures of meaningful use over time” (511, 518, 540-541) "
If you actually read the citation, you see that the bill actually provides for "Incentive Payments" for users of the system, not penalties for those that don't. this is a very clear lie from this piece of trash commentary (not reporting) from a wingnut welfare recipient from the Hudson Institute.

In fact the incentive payments are very specific ranging from $15,000 down and phased out after 6 years.

The rest of the article is specious comparisons with the UK and insinuation about the dark, sinister motives of Tom Daschle.

A perfect case study in propaganda for people to brainwashed to think critically or do research. The entirety of her article is easily disproved with a cursory check of the pages that she cites.

Slim ball?
Well, lets talk small ball instead. Its what most of the country does. Remove the puppet strings and quit being decieved with all the phony politics on both sides. Haven't you figured out that nothing gets better no matter who is in charge? Ever wonder why? Seriously, have you ever taken time to think about it? This liberal/conservative-Rep./Dem crap is a little distraction the true manipulators have concieved to keep little minds occupied while they rob you blind.

Watch this

Then we can talk about what is REALLY going on. We can join together and fight the true enemy. Otherwise, you all remain irrelevant in my world. I don't want to come off with something that appears self superior. Lord knows there is plenty of that on this blog already. However your schoolyard taunts and liberal/conservative bashing seems so childish in view of the big picture. At least that's what it looks like to me.

Ron, you've asked for socialism. You're going to get it. Smile, now!

none of the liberals even tried to answer why regulations on health care are even in this package...
there is no answer...good answer...

None of the "conservatives" even try to answer why they need to rely on lies and propaganda to support their policy goals. Could it be that their ideology has been tested and then tossed on the scrap heap of history? Yes, it must be.

Jason, I don't see socialism in certain doses as a bad thing. You have a sematic leaning toward using the word in a negative way. We have always had a certain amount of it and itis nothing new in most advanced countries.

Game, when you do it without the civil war part I will address it. If your main point and goal is to tear someone to shreds and not solving or coming up with ideas to address the problem you can't expect the people you attempt to shred to be reasonable...Why is it so hard for you guys to understand that?

cracking up, not ONE of you so-called patriotic americans see fit to address the contemptuous effect rationed care will have on our senior citizens, LOL!

you're only worried about the premiums you have to pay for yourselves....

Jason, every single thing you describe as horrible when done by the government is being done this very day to privately insured people. Insurance companies have rafts of restrictions and can even refuse to cover you at all because you have a preexisting condition! I'm thinking the insurance companies are borrowing from the socialist playbook.
