What do you have to hide?
Oh wait, the stuff I said about Dems needing this bill to push through their hard core liberal agenda that 80% of Americans would be outraged to know about is 100% true.

They confirmed they had not yet seen the text of the bill as of 4 p.m.
Um, is this the same stimulus bill that's everybody has been hearing and reading about and the republicans have been complaining about for at least 3 weeks?
And why in the world should the republicans be included in the house-senate conference? They have all declared that not one of them will vote for it regardless so screw 'em.
I'm with you Jim, they seem to have forgotten we had an election and they and their ideas lost. They can cry all they want but they had their turn and blew it and then set about to blame all their failures on everybody else. Screw em.
ah, once again, the hardcore leftists in the democratic party prove that, it is NOT about any sort of "economic stimulus", it's about revenge for eight years of the bush crime family, using the same tactics THEY used, against the people
now, if someone votes on a bill they don't know or understand the contents of, doesn't that make them as foolhardy and irresponsible as those who signed mortgages, without reading the fine print?
and, who exactly would be playing the part of rapacious lender in THIS little passion play?
this political entity, that is masquerading as two political parties, are incapable of providing any sort of relief to the current economic death spiral, because they, collectively, caused it in the first place
if your home were burglarized, would you turn to the apprehended burglar himself, and ask him to help you install your new security system, LOL??
think about it...
you guys are still back on "us vs. them" but what's the difference between theives and crooks, anyway?
for grown men, you are all certainly naive...
"this political entity, that is masquerading as two political parties"
And there you have the crux of the matter.
"this political entity, that is masquerading as two political parties"
I third that.
My comment wasn't on any details of the stimulus. My point is the republican fascists can shut their *&^% mouths because I could care less if they don't like it. I could care less if the think it is wrong or hate the %$# socialist or their country is going to hell or what ever. I'm happy as hell they are offended. I believe they deserve a chance to see how it feels. Karma kicks ass. I seriously doubt they will learn anything from it.They are old and tired giving old failed ideas. When they get reasonable again I will. Other than that they are carvings on a stone age wall.
Hash, I sat here for a month trying to end the us vs them mentality. You know I honestly reached out and made a serious effort. It is games blog though and he has in no uncertain terms indicated this is how he wants to play the game. I am just adhering to the rules of the house. If you want to come comment on my blog I guarantee you you will get a different response and approach.
"My point is the republican fascists"
We want nothing to do with militarizing our economy. Leftists need to look in the mirror -- they're the ones who demand nationalist healthcare, nationalist energy, nationalist finance, and preach nonsense like biological determinism and environmentalist mysticism, and want to be friends with dictatorships.
Our huge problem is getting people like Specter, Grahamnesty, McCain, Lugar, and Hagel out of our party so we can have a clear and principled message again.
The economy will eventually recover. We need to consider where we're going to be 10-20 years down the road. The USA is going collectivist at precisely the time the rest of the world is getting individualist and free-market. If the 1900s tell us anything, it means the advance of progressivism in America will not benefit Americans.
Anyone who says capitalism does not work needs to lose their America-centric perspective and get a grip on what's happening in today's world.
"We want nothing to do with militarizing our economy..."
well, not the us economy or us military, anyway
"Leftists need to look in the mirror..."
we can't, you stole the nation's windex...
"they're the ones who demand nationalist healthcare, nationalist energy, nationalist finance..."
wrongo as usual, i never see leftists at any of the meetings...
"like biological determinism and environmentalist mysticism..."
more neocon echo chamber distractions from the issue at hand
"and want to be friends with dictatorships..."
impossible to accomplish, since you've already bedded down with them, and given them the nights of their lives...
"Our huge problem is getting people like Specter, Grahamnesty, McCain, Lugar, and Hagel out of our party so we can have a clear and principled message again..."
by all means, go ahead and try!
that, and tokens like steele at the helm, will guarantee your covert agenda will past muster, LOL!
"The economy will eventually recover..."
not as long as you and your masters live, breathe, and prosper
"We need to consider where we're going to be 10-20 years down the road..."
how? we've given twenty years of our lives, waiting for you to come up with one coherent thought or policy statement...in ten years, you'll be completely out of the loop
"The USA is going collectivist at precisely the time the rest of the world is getting individualist and free-market..."
americans are uninterested in your tedious self-actualization fantasies, bastiat-inspired recipes for economic catastrophe, and total disintegration of our nation's sovereignity and distinct culture
"If the 1900s tell us anything, it means the advance of progressivism in America will not benefit Americans..."
wake up! hayek is just as irrelevant
not to mention, dead and buried
"benefitting americans" has never been central to your end game, at any rate
"Anyone who says capitalism does not work needs to lose their America-centric perspective and get a grip on what's happening in today's world..."
if you don't care for "america-centric perspectives", might i suggest you build your life in bangalore, or sapporo?
total disintegration of our nation's sovereignity and distinct culture
Hash, drug-addled liberals killed our culture in the 1960s. It is a rare citizen who even knows the names of Walter Piston, Thomas Cole, and James Fenimore Cooper. Our culture in this progressive era is Flava Flav, Bret Farve, and Matt Damon. It isn't even worthy of the name.
I'm sick of couch potato-patriots talking big about preserving 'Murican culture. This annoys me just as much as ignorance of the free market successes around the world. Like Michael Moore watching six hours of television daily, America is getting obese and lethargic, unalert both mentally and physically. While every civilization declines, this is completely self-inflicted and avoidable.
If Obama is insuch a hurry to sign this thing and get save us, why do I have to wait until Tuesday? For such a tech savvy candidate, he sure is behind the times. Do they have faxes on AirForce1?
well, they did
jason just forgets to mention that it was the same neocons he'd have us submit to now, that brought all that mess to our airwaves and celluloid, back when they were just "trotskyist"
jason forgets to mention a lot of things, ron
Jason also forgets to think about a lot of things hash. Either that or he is totally unaware.
Actually Jason, I must apologize for the venom. I really don't want to do that and think it is the wrong way for anybody, including me to go. I just want you to think about how you feel..inside yourself and about me when you read that. Do you realize that that kind of stuff is what you are throwing out there in the universe? There's room for discussion but the intimidation angle only makes enemies and convinces no one of your rightness...correctness.
Through my recent studies I have to tell you that there are people on the right that I find a lot in common with. As a matter of fact they have become people whos views in very many ways align with mine. I would say that I relate to David Icke about 80 to 90 percent of the time and can agree enthusiastically 70 to 75 percent of the time. That is more than I can say for all but a hand full of liberals.. I can get behind Alex Jones 60 to 65 percent of the time and enthusiastically 50 to 55 percent of the time.
Now when it comes to the "showmen", Hannity,Limbaugh,Coulter et al I would say I can get behind them about 10 per cent of the time and that is just to allow for a margin of error. I can get behind them enthusiastically ...pretty much never. So I may not be of the ideology you imagine, even if I am a socialist dirty old hippie. I would venture to say from what I see you have a lot of those misconceptions.
