‘New Europe’ Longs for Bush as Obama Turns Focus to EU, Russia

Just wait, little by little you will be able to replace "new Eurpoe" with any group, accept the morons who think they are getting free kitchens and cars and houses from Obama.

It's a freaking joke now. We are playing with monopoly money. He gets on TV and SAYS that people need to be responsible, but then his new budget is in the hole by many multiple times more than any Bush budget.

Thats another thing, liberals went nuts when Bush had deficit spending after 9/11....so okay liberals, now that Obama has blown any Bush debt out of the water..I'll give you a chance to show you actually care about deficit spending and are not simply yelling cause Bush is a Republican.

Bush...who? Get with the times, man. The GOP spins on a new axis - Limbo, the Unlicensed Plumber, and the albatross from Alaska.

I think that it is awesome that you can do a post on a news article that has such conservative bias immediately after a post about how the media is in the tank for Obama without a hint of irony.

I wonder how you can even function with such a low level of self awareness.

so you are fine with Obama's spending but not Bush's...just checking...

I'm sorry you cannot appreciate the difference between running a deficit to fund a needless war of agression and tax cuts for the rich versus running a deficit to repair the economic damage, caused by republican ideology, that threatens to cause a worldwide depression.

Perhaps an analogy would help you...
Person one, lets call him "George", maxed out his credit cards and his home equity line and cashed out his kid's college fund to go on a month-long tour of Dominican brothels with Rush Limbaugh.

Person two, lets call him "Barry", maxes out his cards, etc, to build the new factory that his business needs to survive.

Even if you disagree with the way that I characterized the spending, even YOU must be able to understand why people might be opposed to one type of deficit spending and not another, right?

i would turn the question around, why were YOU so happy about deficit spending, when bush did it to an unprecedented extent?

now, i know that so-called "conservatives" never study history..

pssst...we've actually been playing with monopoly money since 1971...

how come it's suddenly a problem for you now?

this is just more of the same, only worse...neocons enabled it

"As for the Bush administration’s legacy, Pawel Zalewski, an independent Polish lawmaker, says that “we never wanted to be labeled ‘New Europe.’ It has only brought us problems.”"

neocons HATE europe

you guys cant think at all can you...
you have never been able to explain how republicans caused this, I have shown very clearly how people, specifically Frank and ACORN started all this...
and
I was mad when Bush did it, so were you...and now you are not..
I'm the one that is consistant...
add to the fact that this is flat out crazy spending...you guys are not even worth talking to if you don't think this amount of spending is crazy

I can't believe that you are still blaming the global financial crisis on Barney Frank and ACORN. That level of self-delusion, willful ignorance and/or deception really is mind blowing.

I would love for you to find one real economist that supports that view.

Let's have a debate focused on the facts for once.

I doubt you are up for the challenge. Prove me wrong. Just provides some quotes from economists that discuss the causes of our recession, that support your view.

If you do that, I will do the same, and then we can review the evidence and come to a conclusion about who is right.

You know, a debate.

I doubt any of you are up for it.

Realism--

On the Freddie Mac Fannie Mae issue, I recommend Thomas Sowell, Arnold Kling, and Walter Williams. All have doctorates in economics. I read Krugman's columns in the NYT; hopefully you know of someone more interesting.

Game, they don't. They really, really don't. A lot of people don't pay attention to ideas, but ideas matter. Most of the smart guys on the left are Keynesians who think FDR failed for ten years because he didn't spend enough during the New Deal. The left doesn't give a damn about balancing budgets. At least the right has the excuse of responding to 3,000 Americans getting killed on our own soil.

I know some are going to mention Clinton in the 90s. Well, without a GOP Congress, the socialist Democrats would have implemented all sorts of entitlements, starting with authoritarian medicine.

It's not hard to prove this one...Jason did it first...I have links already on my blog proving it, from economists...I know they are not bloggers on dailykos or moveon.org, but they might pass the test...
lol...man that was easy...

"I was mad when Bush did it, so were you...and now you are not.."

bullshit

you're jumping on the train now, because it's fashionable, and your "opinion leaders" have thought out your talking points for you

"I'm the one that is consistant..."

yes, consistently wrong

you consistently defended bush's every little fart and squeak, and supported ALL the treasure grabs of the bush crime family

turning a false meme upside down on it's head, you ALWAYS were a republican before you were a so-called "conservative", pissing our treasure away on utter nonsense, and fabricated "enemies"

you were ALWAYS party before country, and you will continue to be one going forward, there is no where else for you to go

"you guys are not even worth talking to if you don't think this amount of spending is crazy..."

you only oppose spending, when you believe you won't benefit from it personally

when the right does it, you cheer on the drunken sailors, LOL!

"A lot of people don't pay attention to ideas, but ideas matter..."

oh, I do, LOL!

and, not just your ideas, but your ILK have to be scourged, eradicated from the national landscape, lest we become yet another eu, with yet another worthless currency, corrupt oligarchy, dubious "allies", no sovereignity, true faith supplanted for your satanic rituals and "culture"

"The left doesn't give a damn about balancing budgets..."

neither do you or yours, unless the numbers are fudged, or the fed is involved in some manner

"At least the right has the excuse of responding to 3,000 Americans getting killed on our own soil..."

yawn...

it was YOUR "new pearl harbor", jason

five blocks in the other direction, and i'd have been killed in my own office, so don't even try it

"...starting with authoritarian medicine..."

you NEED "authoritarian medicine"..

more "artistic types", LOL??

"I know they are not bloggers on dailykos or moveon.org, but they might pass the test..."

i don't read either of those sites, try again

"lol...man that was easy..."

that's the way it was for "rain man", as well

Cheer up, hash, you're getting your wish in a big way. Say goodbye to free enterprise, sane judges, and America as a voice for freedom.

BTW-- I wonder how long it takes realism to figure out it isn't the facts that matter, but the interpretation of the facts. I'll help him out-- to understand what his own team is thinking, he needs to google "liquidity trap" and "triangle model" -- but we'll see if he has the chops for a theoretical discussion, of if his facts are just "Republicans are stupid" regurgitated from Herr Olbermann and the Daily Show.

poor jason, you're confused again, or, at least, trying to sow discord, the main objective of any neocon disruptor

in fact, i promote capitalism, justice, and freedom, it is you and yours who work tirelessly to suppress them, on behalf of the internationalist forces you support

why would i support YOU, any more then i would support barky? you have the same goals, under separate cover...

jason, all of your convuluted, pseudo-intellectual posturing is unnecessary and distracting, all that needs to be said, is that team barky WANTS for the stock market to collapse, WANTS full-scale nationalization of our financial system and institutions,
NEEDS it all, to enslave and draw the control grid more tightly

it's just the next logical step to what the bush crime family set us all up for, and, literally, in weeks, it will be plain for all to see, beyond debate

no need to distract, in a vain effort to shield your own cabal for its culpability and role in the matter, more americans are awakening, every day

Game, do you consider yourself part of the Limbo wing...or the Unlicensed Plumber wing...or the Palin wing? It's plain that you are NOT part of the Specter wing.
