Didn't actually read the article, did ya?

It refers to intercepts in "recent months" which implies that some, most, or all could have been during the previous administration. But now the Obama administration is putting the brakes on to bring the NSA into compliance.

The legal and operational problems surrounding the N.S.A.’s surveillance activities have come under scrutiny from the Obama administration.

There is more to news than just headlines, you know.

Just heard a report while I got lunch saying most of this stuff has happened since Obama took office...fyi

Would be interested in learning further about that report. That said, looks like Obama is doing something about it according to your cited article.

Look, I don't have any problem with electronic surveillance as long as it is done within the law and within the Constitution. Obama is working to make sure that is the case.

This is a clear violation of my civil rights. Last month in Chef's Quarterly a recently appointed Obama "phone spy" published my special Apple Tart recipe. The only person I told it to was my benevolent uncle Momar. We were just swapping recipes.

It is outrageous. He won $50 and a years subscription renewal.
