Problem with Obama

I keep seeing him spending us to high heaven, saying he is sorry and don't blame him for our terrible terrible past, as if we are terrible people, he gets buddy buddy with dictators...
And you know what...here is what I want.
They have total control for two years...go head, do whatever you want...
But here is the problem...
When it doesn't work,
When we are broke and our power is weakened,
Dems should agree to just shut up and go away.
Since they will never go away , we can't let Obama completely ruin our entire nation as quickly as he is.

Under your formula, it's clear why Repubs had to "go away." They tried and failed, and turned control over to the other side. You gotta love democracy in action.

Problem? Problems, plural.

Democracy implies a choice. You don't "gotta love" it when both choices are so similar you can barely tell the difference.

The government will fail everytime to do what an individual can do. The repub tried? not good enough. The dems have tried. not good enough. Obama is just reliving what we already know will be not good enough.

what specifically did the republicans do wrong with the economy?

Specifically, TARP. The gov. attempting to manipulate the economy to prevent pain is a mistake.

I knew you wouldn't have the brain power to come up with even one specific thing...whereas I have listen quite a few...

They started a stupid war that cost $2 trillion, something economists now say contributed to our current economic problems. They took a budget surplus and redistributed it to top 0.01% of wealthiest Americans, returning US to deficit spending. They took budget pork to a new all-time level (then turn around and say how bad earmarks are). History is clear - the US national debt has continually increased when supply-side economic policies are implemented.

Obama has falsified this completely. Have you seen the current numbers?

Earth to Bowden - we're still operating on Bush's FY09 budget. Big O's program commences Oct. 1. You're trying to give him way too much credit for 100 days of service.

omg

game, do you consider bush to have been a fiscal conservative??

do you believe these problems started just a few years ago, or even with barky's election, LOL?

have you ever made an effort to even learn your country's RECENT history, the differences between even friedman, keynes, etc., so that the pervasive, bratty nastiness that pervades your comments are not exceeded by their constant ignorance?

well, maybe you NEED to, because, if you won't, you're hardly an asset to your nation, much less what's left of conservatism, or a post-obama nation
