Probably most people. Justice Samuel Alito certainly does, as he stated the very same thing in his confirmation hearing. And I believe every Senate republican voted to confirm him, right?
They all say the same thing. Everybody loves the Against All Odds scenario. Who doesn't love their Momma?
Unless and until robots run for office, these human interest angles will remain the norm.
Next time I'm called to serve on a jury and am instructed to be fail and impartial, I'm going to say I'll be just as impartial as Judge Sotomayor.
I bet they excuse me and I go home.
I'd love them to try and bring me up for contempt.
Argh, I meant fair not fail.
