Doyle won't seek re-election in 2010

So does this help or hurt the Democrats?
I think Doyle probably only had a 40% chance of winning this time around.
There are a few factors:
1. Will the momentum continue to shift to Republicans, and will it shift enough to give them big wins?
2. Who will Dems pick to run.

The dullard Doyle...totally messes up our great state and leaves before the voters throw him out in the next election...can only help his party try to regroup...

If the race comes down to a D and either Neumann or Walker, it won't matter who the D is. The R will get crushed.

Why didn't Doyle follow the Palin model and quit? Then travel the country making an ass of himself?
