Honda recalls 646,000 Jazz/Fit, City cars globally

Are we done with the fallacy that foreign cars are better made than American cars?
That was true 30 years ago, but definitely has not been true for the last 5 or 6. I know many car dealers and they all tell me that after about 2004 cars like the Camery and others that American's just assume are better than a Ford are the same or worse.
With the stories in the paper lately that seems to be the case.
I will always buy American cars as long as they are well made...as should you.

Honestly, there is no way Americans can compete with rest of the world because american labor is way too expensive. It's just a matter of time before we get completely thrown out of sectors like manufacturing, airlines and software. Health care sector could be the next target!! Gone are the days when global trade helped USA. Now, we are bleeding and the same model of 'global trade' has turned out to be our big enemy.
