People like their news fair and balanced.
So is MSNBC...!! Well, you get my point. Unfortunately, cable channels have ruined the 'new business' by turning it into an entertainment and a drama. It could be Keith of MSNBC or Beck of Fox news. If you take a poll, I am sure there are more people watching Fox News - Reason is simple: Liberals have many options. Conservatives have only one channel.
Here is what I see in future - Like in any capitalistic society, there will be more conservative channels coming up, giving tough competition to Fox.

I will say that you have to make sure to understand that even though all the cable news stations have people like Beck, those are not news reporters and they do not pretend to be..nor do they pretend to be fair and balanced..
That is where the actual news reporting and the rest of the day come in...
Well, I don't agree with the excuse of 'Glenn is not a reporter'. People do get news from him! And he is on a 'news network', not on MTV or Comedy channel. Moreover, people like him and Bill call themselves 'Independents' though we all know what they really are. Oh well...
