Comprehensive vs abstinence only sex education

vs

I'm not going to write any personal comments on it now, but I want to know what people think about this. My masters thesis deals with the effectiveness of abstinence only education versus a comprehensive sex education that teaches abstinence and contraception...

You guys can even help me with my literary review by commenting with links to prove your point...If I get enough debate, I will throw in my two cents later.

I have absolutely no opinion on this. I mean it to. Absolutely none. I am concerned about my son, however, do I let him go through the public school's sex education program with it's progressive society BS or do I try to do it myself? What would I teach? Should I tell him to never have sex? Should I teach him what to do if the event arises? I don't know.

Ave. joe...I will post soon with what I think is right...

but for you, if you set up your house hold to be very religious, very moral...focus on what is right and wrong...I would say go with the abstinence only...

Hopefully your son will know what is wrong, respect you enough to not want to disappoint you...

If not...you better teach him how to cover it up, and how to go to the doctor to get tested for syphilis...
