The best 11 days of the year started off great.
Tonights headliner at the fair was Sara Evans. It was a great way to start off the fair...It was great to see all my friends again...music industry insiders, everyone. Sara came out about 4 to do her sound check...she looked very cute, had her three kids with her....she was holding her new born baby as she did part of her sound check!!!
There were about 5900 people at the show. I enjoyed it very much. She played all her hits and sounded great. It was about an hour twenty minute show. After the show she met with VIP's and fan club members. I was in awe at her beauty...I am in charge of the meet and greets, I got to stand next to her and talk to her for a good half an hour...what a great way to start the best 11 days of the year.
In addition, I got two Herb Kohl milks for a quarter, ate a pita, filled up my root beer barrel, and ate cheese curds..
Sad news... I could not find the silly dilly pickle place that served the best beef jerky in the world, and I did not eat a cream puff.

The commish might have to lay the smack down a little harder next time...but when there is a more crazy show...your last worry will be if some fat chick is trying to take a crappy video on her digital camera...

I LOVE THE FAIR!
I was at the fair on Thursday and saw Sara Evans. I was way up in the grandstand, but still enjoyed the show.
I saw the adorable racing pigs and all the other animals.
I had one Herb Kohl milk--chocolate. It's always so cold and so good. The problem is I tend to drink it too fast and I feel a little nauseous afterward. It happens every year.
I, of course, ate a cream puff!
