Is it okay for a group of people to have a school, or any organization for that matter, exclusively for themselves?
I lived in Hawaii and know that Kamehameha is a great school doing great things for the Hawaiian people. I personally think that they should be able to have this school, I think that people should stop trying to mess with their excellence.
My problem is that only certain groups of people are allowed to do this...
Why are the boys scouts forced to have gay troup leaders if they do not want too?
Why does the Citadel have to allow women?
Why does the Masters have to allow women golfers and members?
The list could go on and on...
The problem is that when libs read this previous list, they think...Well, you should not be able to exclude gays or women from anything. They should be able to do whatever they want. But I'm sure they are fine with this Hawaiian case.
Does anyone see the lack of consistency?
Why should Kamehameha have to admit white students if they are a school attempting to preserve the Hawaiian culture. Leave them along, they are an elite school. See, I absolutely hate it when a group has been doing something great for many, many years and someone is jealous and wants to mess it up.
Let private organizations do what they want. Let them admit whomever they want. This should be for EVERY group.

The larger question is should private organizations be allowed to make their own rules? Yes and no. Our constitution is the over-riding document on this and determines the rule of the land. If it is constitutionally sound, then set up whatever rules you want.
If the idiots at Augusta National wants to refuse women, I guess it is their right (Makes no sense to me)
essentially that is the question...
Can the boy scouts, private schools, or any othehr private organization admit who they want..
I say yes.
However, commish, we did have a lot of dicks, most were hairy, and there was a guy namesd Tom.
