I saw this linked at my friend at realdebatewisconsin
It is a quiz that attempts to catagorize your political philosophy.
Take the quiz here
Here is what the quiz says I am:
You scored as Pro Business Republican.
Pro-business Republicans support supply-side economics. By cutting taxes, reducing regulations, and supporting large corporations, they want to spur innovation and create economic growth that benefits all Americans.
I think this describes me well. I am very consistent on this issue. I truly believe that the human spirit is trampled and smothered with too many social programs that assume that people can not take care of themselves. Free enterprise and the human drive to succeed is the best way to keep a country strong. It is how this country became the greatest in the world. Putting up all these safety nets and free hand-outs kills the human spirit and actually encourages people being failures.
Take the quiz and post your results and comments.

that is the mark of a good quiz...
they do that on purpose to see if your answers are consistant...
I was a Pro-business Republican also which struck me as odd because I'm not as rah-rah for business as I see other Republicans. But it was an interesting quiz and Ben did a good job with it.
what can I say, great minds think alike
Foreign Policy Hawk 100%
Socially Conservative Republican 100%
Libertarian 80%
Pro Business Republican 70%
Old School Democrat 50%
Green 40%
New Democrat 20%
You're damn right. I am deathly afraid of communists and Islamic terrorists and I know that only we can stop them all. I also liked that I was a socially conservative republican rather than pro-business. If you think Enron and Tyco and WorldCom are going to practice restraint without government regulation you obviously have never been bent over by corporate America. Only by stressing personal responsibility and non-interference in personal affairs will we achieve the right future for conservatives.
Oh yeah, and New Democrat makes no sense to me. Let's help all the poor people who won't take responsibility for themselves, but also spend less money... Nonsensical.
Average Joe,
I would tend to agree with your idea that the government should regulate some parts of business, but that they should stay out of our personal lives as much as possible.
My spin is that over-all, it is corporate America that makes the country run. They hire people, people have money, they spend money, business makes money, hires more people, ect...
All that is left are the losers who do not want to work, do not want to speak English or fucked around in school so they have no skills to work...these people represent the base of Democratic Party voters
See, you should stop questioning yourself before every election...be proud of what you are and for being on the right side of the spectrum.
and you are the first person to get those right too...
well done commish
Social Conservative...not too much I didn't know about myself anyways...pretty much dead on...
hope to see you more awebb
