Wisconsin State Fair day X: Saturday August 13th

The rock did not stop Saturday night at the Wisconsin State Fair. There is a reason 80's music is the best music every made. There were 10,000 people at a show with bands that have not had a successful radio song in over 15 years. This ear of music draws the most fans and the 80's radio format (the BREW) is the number one music station in Milwaukee. Its just good, fun and loud music. The songs are catchy and obviously memorable if people can remember every word of songs written over 20 years ago.

In addition, every band sounded good. The lead singers still had their voices, and the band members can not only play their instruments, but they look good doing it. Many band of today can barely figure out how to string together two or three cords for an entire album.

Plus, the women are still hot...I could not believe what I was seeing back stage last night. It must be the money, because most of these guys are not what I would consider attractive.

As expected, Cinderella carries the record for the most swearing at this years WSF...in fact, I am not sure if there was any swearing until their show. All in all, a great time, and a great trip back to an era when music was fun and catchy, albums used to sell 10 to 12 million copies regularly, and bands could go around the country and sell out arena and stadiums with no problem.

All the bands get together for a picture

Cinderella rocking out (this was also the most visually pleasing show of the fair)
