U.S. House committee visits Milwaukee to hear litany of problems that marred state's results
I know this committee is here to look at ACTUAL voter fraud, so liberals will not be interested....they like to go around the internet and just SAY that Republicans commit voter fraud with wild theories and quarter-truths...
Please read this section written in the Milwaukee journal/Sentinel...then I will tell you why it is a bunch of bull...
About 50 people attended the hearing at the federal courthouse. Green and U.S. Rep. Gwen Moore (D-Milwaukee) were allowed to sit in and join in the questioning.
The two offered opposite views, especially on the photo ID issue.
Moore repeatedly cited a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee study on who is lacking a driver's license to declare flatly that a photo ID requirement would "have the effect of disenfranchising over a quarter of a million eligible voters in our state" - mainly the poor, elderly and minorities.
Moore's statement, though, suggests that no one currently lacking an ID would get one. Moreover, the most recent photo ID measure vetoed by Gov. Jim Doyle contained exemptions for some senior citizens and would have provided the cards free to those who could not afford one.
Moore also questioned whether the requirement would prevent any fraud, as did several witnesses, including state Rep. Pedro ColĂ³n (D-Milwaukee), who said "no fraud" had been found in the election.
Ehlers, the committee member from Michigan, said any indication of fraud should concern state residents - as well as other discrepancies and errors.
Are article is about voter fraud and election problems...and the DEMOCRAT Gwen Moore is talking...so what is the paper forgetting to bring up???
1. Her son is being put on trial for slashing Republican vans on election day that were supposed to be used to get people to the polls....yes, I know...this is ACTUAL examples of Democrats trying to fix elections so Liberals will get mad and say both sides do it...but here is an ACTUAL example.
Why wouldn't the liberal paper wanttheirr liberal congresswoman to look bad?
What would happen if Karl Rove's kids slashed tires on election day?
There could be a story about Rove being constipated and they would make sure they mentioned his son slashing tires.
2. Where do they mention that Gwen Moore raised a son who has publicly joined black panther groups that say whites can not go to heaven because they are evil...along with other HATE speech (I love to use that word here....liberals thinks it only can be used when heterosexual white males talk)..
What if Roves kid joined the KKK....maybe, just maybe the media would mention it.......in EVERY STORY, ON EVERY DAY, IN EVERY PAPER FOR ONE YEAR.
Okay, enough proving that the media is biased for today.

This photo ID thing is an absolute disgrace. Wisconsin Dems are fighting it as if they believe that their very survival depends on keeping the cards out of the hands of voters.
Maybe it does!
You know when Jimmy Carter recommends a photo ID card, saying that it "will help minority voting instead of deterring it," this issue will be a problem for Moore and Doyle and WI Dems.
There's no question that if a Republican's grown son had taken part in slashing tires the way Moore's kid did, it would make the cover of TIME.
Voter ID's are bullshit. All the fraud comes on the backend, not the front. Anyone related to Karl Rove is going to be to much of a coward to do anything so bold. Thats how Rove rolls, everything is underhanded and manipulative.

I bring up something that is full of facts and common sense.
then someone else backs it up with more common sense talk.
then, someone left of center comes on and yells crap that doesn't make sense...never answers any questions or argues against anything said...usually something about bush lying or in this case, Rove is a coward....brilliant talk...bravo rhyno
do you have an ID? Any functioning member of society has one...and if they don't we will give them one... this is a no brainer....
exactly....voter ID's are crap. If you only need an ID to vote, then get a voters ID. To require them is invasive.
Rhyno, I agree with you on most everything..expecially making out with lots of nieces!:-) I don't see here how this is a problem. The Dems are against it in my state too. I don't know why. I'm sure ways could be found that aren't costly. Let's clean it up on both ends. Fair elections are vital to the survival of a government that has any chance of truly representing the people.
