What Would Morris Do?

Dick Morris is a former Clinton political advisor and now a FOX NEWS contributor...
He was on The O'Reilly Factor tonight telling Bill the three things Bush could do to get his poll numbers up instantly.

They are:
1. Get serious about cleaning up the boarder issue. He said to put up a wall, start a guest worker program, and kick out every illegal you can.

2. Promote an energy plan....Give people rebates for buying hybrid and hydrogen cars, build more nuclear power plants and refineries.

3. Attack the nations drug problem.

I LOVE numbers one and two....most people are sick of illegal immigration and would support that issue...many people are just drooling about it, I have said many times whomever takes this issue on first will win big....

The second issue is great as well....EVERYONE hates paying high energy prices. Most people understand we need to start using other sources of energy BUT many also understand we have to become self-sufficient. Drilling and refining oil along with nuclear power is the way to go.

Morris said Clinton's poll numbers were around 38 percent when he started advising Clinton. Morris had Clinton start promoting and getting behind anything that was a popular position...and of course it worked very well.

So, is this the way for Bush to get his numbers up?
Does it matter that his numbers are down?
Is there another way for him to get them up?
