Another philosophical question:
Should government be able to raise taxes without voting on it?
In Wisconsin our gas tax goes up every year without a vote...
Taxation without representation keeps ringing in my head...
Tea getting dumped into a harbor...
The problem is that BOTH Democrats AND Republicans love this...this way they get more money without making it look like they want higher taxes...
Dems did pass this law that only 3 states have, but I can't say I am happy with the Republicans on this one either.
So....is it okay to have a law like this? And is it wrong for Republicans to let it be here all these years?

It's time for this automatic tax increase to end.
Both the Dems and Republicans should be voting on this, not just letting it happen. I want them to have to go on the record.
This automatic increase completely eliminates responsibility.
