A letter to the editor in the Milwaukee Urinal

This letter was published in the editorial section of the paper today. I was amazed that the entire letter contained NO facts and made NO sense...I want to break this down...and I am going to assume that this letter would be written by millions of liberals across the land:

IRAQ
Can we oppose war and support troops? Yes

There has been much written about the apparent contradiction of how it can be possible to both support our troops and oppose the war in Iraq. This war was entered into under pressured and biased intelligence investigation after investigation has been done trying to show there was some tampering with intelligence...and there was none...complete lie number one with poor foresight and planning. It has been mismanaged to the point of negligence. Iraqi's just voted today in huge numbers. A democracy has been started in the middle of the Arab world. Idiots who never paid attention in history class don't understand that things don't go well all the time. Liberals want a perfect war....that is why they are part of the reason we loose. Still, there remain those who blindly continue to support the president's abuse of our troops in this folly, irrespective of the cost in lives to Americans and Iraqis.

We are faced with a conundrum: Our troops cannot leave Iraq until there is security for its people, and there never will be security for its people while our troops are in Iraq. Even those Iraqis who opposed Saddam Hussein do not want us there. I commented on the poll that states Iraqi's are very happy with the way things are going and I had the video of the woman voting and telling liberals to go to hell.
These are the problems with attempting to fix world issues with simplistic black-and-white solutions. Bush has been actually changing the middle east...making it hard on terrorists. What did Clinton, the UN or any other liberal program do for the middle east...well, there was the food for oil scandal. What we have succeeded in accomplishing is replacing a murderous secular despot with a civil war and creating the best recruiting program for radical militant Islamists the world has ever seen. Do people feel safer now?
Is it possible to support the troops and oppose the war? I propose it is not only possible but it is our duty to oppose any use of our troops in the manner we have seen in Iraq. Our troops deserve no less.
What is our military for Mike?

And I could find a poll and woman who would say exactly the opposite

the people in charge of this war and the us government are greedy corporate globalists who care nothing about America and the rule of law in order to push their power and collect your money. The picture of some heroic American action rings more hollow with every succeeding week. Your insistance on viewing it that way is what will put their ilk out of power in the next elections.
