How many times are Democrats going to get to make racist comments before there is a national outcry. I have been trying to show how the Left does absolutely nothing to actually help minorities...Because hand-outs and excuses is not help.
This weeks Democratic racism comes from Hillary Clinton and New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin
Here is what Hillary said:
Clinton actually got an easy question. “I need you to tell us what distinguishes Democrats from Republicans right now,” she was asked.
Clinton's answer was provocative.
Said Clinton, “When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation and you know what I'm talking about..."
I hope the fact that this story is even in print means that the media might be tired of looking the other way when Dean tells racist jokes, or Sen. KKK Byrd is throwing around the N word.
Then Mayor Ray Nagin said:
"It's time for us to come together. It's time for us to rebuild New Orleans _ the one that should be a chocolate New Orleans," the mayor said. "This city will be a majority Africa
n American city. It's the way God wants it to be. You can't have New Orleans no other way. It wouldn't be New Orleans."
If that is not racist I do not know what is...but since he is black nothing will be said. I watched Bullworth tonight. Three times there were references made that the Democratic party will really never do anything to help the black community....since they know blacks will never vote Republican. If you have never seen that movie, check it out. The stuff said in there tells it like it is.

As long "gimme-gimme" black america listens to these democratic fiends they ARE still oppressed. The difference is they are beholden to their do nothing democratic slave masters.
It's really sad to see a snake oil sales-thing like Clinton work a black church crowd. It's like a Jim Jones kool-aid revival. They'll follow her right off the cliff.

What Nagin said was not a crime. It was unwise, to say the least. Why should he be forced to resign? If his constituents don't like what he said, they can vote him out at the next election.
So what did Newt Gingrich mean in 1994 when he referred to the Democrats who "run the plantation"?

I can answer the Boortz quote...and as a frequent reader of his, this is a satirical statement, not a statement of his opinion. As for others, I'd imagine a similar case, but am not going to take the time to figure it out right now.

You make the false assumption that I am claiming racism by the Republics quoted above. I did no such thing.
I only showed that Republics had used the "plantation" metaphor a number of times in the past, and nobody made a big deal about that EVEN THOUGH, except for Gingrich, they were explicitly referring to blacks on the "Democratic plantation." Gingrich's remark was virtually identical to Clinton's in meaning. Clinton's remarks had nothing to do with blacks. She said that the Republic controlled Congress is run like a plantation. That those in power had total control and the rest are subservient to the majority masters. There are not significant numbers of blacks in Congress that would make this statement in any way refer to black "slaves". The "slaves" here are congressional Democrats.

Look Game, I read everything you write. I already said what Nagin said was unwise. And this is all over the media. They ARE going nuts.
The so-called-liberal-media is all over Clinton on her quote like white on rice, so don't say they are ignoring it. I've watched Hardball, Countdown, O'Reilly (not liberal), read the papers, listened to the radio, and they are all screaming about it, devoting multiple segments. Chris Matthews is beside himself.
This even though the exact same term has been used by a number of conservatives/Republics as I have previously cited. And don't claim, out of context. The context is there and it is clear.
I think there are two seperate levels here...the Clinton comment has been said before. I think the comment by Nagin has gotten about as much coverage as it should have..
what I am trying to say is that if you reverse the roles...and have a conservative say the save kind of thing...then you would see outrage.
Your last post is still unclear to me. Have a conservative say which thing? Chocolate city or plantation?
Surely there would be outrage if a white mayor said that New Orleans should be a vanilla city. Just as there has been outrage over what Nagin said.
There was NO outrage whatsoever when the Republics used the term "plantation", but we sure as hell are getting a earful about Clinton saying it. And who the hell cares if Laura Bush thinks it's rediculous? But even that is carried on the news.
Democrat says "plantation"... outrage on all fronts. Republics say "plantation" many times ... nada.
Look what happened to Trent Lott, when he didn't say anything even close to this inflammatory, as Clinton's and Nagin's statements have been. Where's all the cries of outrage to oust these two?
This disgusts me. Both of these Dems should have been hung from their toenails. If they were white Republicans speaking against minorities, they would have been.
I'm still in shock about how twisted and how out of proportion the Dems and the MSM spun Trent Lott's statement.
