Here me out conservatives.
I agree Hamas is evil and really, I think there is nothing wrong with killing them all.
However, we want every country to be Democratic, the Palestinians had an election and chose their leaders.
We gave them money to be a democracy, but now we are going to take away the money because we didn't like the outcome?
I'm not saying I agree with that statement, but it is interesting.
Now, the fact that Hamas won is a clear result of Israel appeasing the terrorists by getting out of the West Bank. Once again, the passive, liberal way fails and now we have to deal with the consequences.

Sadaam was elected and he got our money. Woohoo!!
I don't think it's kind of funny how the liberal system for dealing with terrorism has been proven to be ridiculous. The nice and liberal Israelis moved out of the West Bank and how did the Palestinians respond? By electing a militant terrorist organization to majority power.
I think that is easily agreed on...really, that whole part of the world is f-ed up.
A bit off topic, still speaking of choosing leaders...
Have you seen this about shitmom running against Dianne Feinstein? That woman will not give up her 15 minutes of fame.

Sharon is a passive liberal?
That whole part of the world is f-ed up? Except of course Iraq which is going fantastically.
We are doing a great job....but really I believe a great deal of the world is a toilet...you've got almost all of Mexico and central american, a lot of south america, all of africa, almost all of the middle east....all poorer than our "poor"
"That woman will not give up her 15 minutes of fame."
Good. Hopefully she will nader the Democratic presidential nominee in 2008 after she helps sink Feinstein.
Life is good.
Ahem, Saddam was never elected, except at such times when he was the only one on the ballot. Hitler was appointed chancellor, not elected. He lost the presidential election to Hindenburg. He annexed that title a year later.
Please, I beg you, do not use these as examples of democracy.
And Jim is right, Sharon is anything but a passive liberal. My own opinion is that him and Arafat, who had been trying to kill each other for 50 years, were like an old married couple. Once Arafat went down, Sharon lost his own identity with him.
bingo, Hindenburg thought appointing him Chancellor, and the former president(thoroughly corrupt)as Vice-Chancellor would calm all the uprisings. Its so sad in hindsight.
I don't think shitmom would even get enough votes to make a difference in which way the election went.
You guys are an involved bunch that is for sure. Sometimes when I watch you guys discuss politics I feel like I'm tripping;)
