'South Park'-Scientology Battle Rages On

I think this is a great story to showcase the intolerance and hypocrisy of the Hollywood liberal.
South Park has made fun of just about every single group of people in the USA....EVERYONE...

But when does it go to far? When you make fun of the Hollywood liberals "religion"
I really think anyone on the Left who acts like this should be put in jail anytime they say that ANYONE else is intolerant.

And a P.S....if you have never watched this show, you should....many episodes are really social commentaries, and everyone can enjoy it, because they make fun of BOTH sides, and really everyone inbetween....

Do you have a favorite episode?

This might be my favorite...

I have never seen South Park (don't watch TV) but am frequently astonished at how many supposedly intelligent Hollywood types would believe in a religion created by a Science-Fiction writer (and not a very good writer at that.)

Who are the "Hollywood liberals" affiliated with Scientology who are intolerant? You may have this one wrong. What a surprise!

Tom Cruise does't like the fact that South Park is making fun of Scientology nor the fact that they had a Tom Cruise character in a closet and people were chanting for him to come out of the closet. I've never heard about Tom Cruise or John Travolta being liberals. Have you?

The same company that owns Comedy Central also owns Mission Impossible III, staring Cruise. Cruise threatened to not promote the movie if the Cruise episode was aired again. The company caved.

It's all about MONEY. Has nothing to do with liberals or religious intollerance.

I'm truly lost? What the heck does that mean? What part of my post can you show to be wrong?

Is this now your standard response to something you have no real answer for?

It was from star wars...

But, it is really common sense to me that the hollywood liberals are intolerant. I am showing you an example, a very clear, easy to understand example.

I really don't know what else to say. Liberals love to use the word tolerance, but when someone says something about them, they are the most intolerant people in the world.

This being a great example. South park has made fun of EVERYONE, but now that it affects something hollywood cares about, they will do whatever they can to take away the first ammendment

But as I have shown, this has nothing to do with religious tolerance or liberals. It has to do with MONEY and the power of an individual to force a corporation to do something based on economic consequences.

You claim this to be an example of "bad liberal" when there is no liberal in this story. There is no religious intolerance in this story. Once again you are trying to trash liberals out of thin air. You try to build a case against liberals when your example in no way supports one.

I'll talk like I am teaching...lets see...second grade...

Tom Cruise and all other scientologist...Hollywood liberals..

South Park makes fun of everyone, but when they made fun of the liberals stupid religion they forced the episode to be taken off the air...it hurts my brain to understand how you can be so blind

Game, I'll talk like you teach. There is no correlation whatsoever between hollywood liberals and Scientology. What evidence, source, anecdotes can you show that would even hint that either Tom Cruise or Isaac Hayes is a liberal. What? Tom Cruise was in a movie, so he's a hollywood liberal?

Too complicated?

Here is a list of famous adherents of Scientology. While many of them are actors and musicians, I don't see any names of people who have appeared at a "liberal" rally or spoken against the president or have any publicly expressed liberal views.
