'Today we march, tomorrow we vote': fearful US Latinos flex political muscle

Two separate thoughts:

1. Go ahead. If this becomes a political issue, and the Right stands up against illegal immigration...they will gain millions of votes...much more than they lose.

2. If people were not able to vote illegally, most of the people protesting could not vote. If anyone wants to tell me what is wrong with proving who you are to vote, let me know. I had to give my ID to the bartender last week when I wanted a drink.....so a tall screwdriver must be much more important than the right to vote. And if you want to say there are millions without ID's, then maybe you should work on getting them ID's....otherwise you are simply accepting that there are millions of losers who can't function in society....if you did say that you would be consistent with the Democratic Party philosophy. (Which is to expect the absolute least out of everyone)

This is possibly the most important issue of our time, next to the war on terror...and of course, they are similar in some ways...
