Walker is out

Everyone around here already knows about it.
You can comment if you want.
He was the true conservative...so now you either vote for a complete jerk or conservative-lite.

I like to post a lot of articles, don't forget to scroll down a bit and keep two and three day old conversations alive.

Mark Green looks a like a conservative to me.

Mark Green on the Issues

Here in Illinois Republicans are addicted to losing. They insist on running "true conservatives," even if they have to go out of state and run clowns like Alan Keyes that get wiped out and only obtain 27% of the vote. When a moderate like Topinka (Too-Pinko, they call her) wins the Republican nomination, the hard right promises to vote for the corrupt incumbent Democrat to "cleanse" the Republican party. This is insanity, given this is a very Democratic state that sends people like Barack Hussein Obama and Richard Durbin to Washington. Republicans held the governorship here for 28 years straight, but the hard right is getting too greedy, as if this wasn't Illinois, but Utah. As a result of this stupidity, the Democrats now control not only C(r)ook County, but everything.

oh, I'll vote for Green, but I just think Walker would have had a better chance to win since he got over 60% of the vote in the heavily democratic county of Milwaukee last election

Walker is a total loss for the Dems, though. The guy has flushed most of the county programs down the toilet, lost the park system, and alienated a lot of middle road voters. Mark Green has a lot more for all voters to like. All but the most hard core liberals will compromise with his fiscal and environmental ideas to deal with his archaic abortion views. Plus, those views wont get anywhere with our legislature. If you want a Pub in Madison, Green is a far better choice. Its going to be interesting to see if Doyle can spin the media in this one. Regardless of what game says, they lay off of Green.

WI voters tend to vote pretty sensibly, outside of inner Milwaukee and and most of dumbshit Waukesha county. We always have a nice mix of Pub/Dem/Con/Lib at the state level.
