Lithium-Battery Cars May Deliver 300 Miles Per Charge

So, what do you think?
What price does this car have to get down to before the ave. person can get it?
The teachers around me say $35,000 is too much.
And if you did want to go on a long trip....you would need a gas car at this point.
It would be nice to start seeing other methods of power...

35k is only too much if you dont keep a car for very long. Those of us who maintain a vehicle and keep it for a decade would find 35k a very attractive price.

If such a car was large enough for my super-size husband, we'd get one as a commuter car. I'd still have to have a gas car for trips to see my family.

Of course, unless we are going to build more nuke plants into which we can plug these things, we aren't really any better off.

Good points...

we are trying to save ourselves from liberal environmentalists by going to electricity, but they will get us there too...no nuclear power plants....they are evil...environmentalists are evil, stop listening to them
