Despite Republican scandals, Democrats will not win back majorities in Congress by default, U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold told New Hampshire Democrats.
Speaking at the state party's annual convention, Feingold, D-Wisconsin, rejected the idea that Democrats should just lay low and let Republicans self-destruct.

I think if the Dem's CAN shut up and NOT remind us that they are hard core libs, they WILL win...

We'll only win if we show we are willing to discuss tough subjects or else we will be perceived as weak and full of fear."

Just exactly why I want this guy to be President. He thinks people should stand for something. God Bless him...can we have him pleeeesze. The reason I can no longer claim to be a Democrat is because they snivel away in fear when the opposition questions their patriotism or uses fear or guilt. Screw those sickening poor excuses for leaders. I would rather loose big standing for something than lose by a little as a little sniveling weasel. GO RUSS!!!!!!!!!

As I said, I'm happy to lose if I can vote for someone who truly(in a reasonable sense) represents me. I don't want to vote for a wishy washy..Many saw GWB in this same light in the begining and it proved to be quite a political asset til they caught on. Tom Coburn is a true believer. I disagree with him on almost everything..sometimes vociferiously but you get what you pay for with him and Russ both. GWB and Hillary....not so much.
