More good news in Iraq

I doubt the MSM or any Democrats are going to talk about this, so I will:

Post-al-Zarqawi Raids Kill 104 Insurgents

American and Iraqi forces have carried out 452 raids since last week's killing of terrorist leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, and 104 insurgents were killed during those actions, the U.S. military said Thursday.

Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a U.S. military spokesman in Baghdad, said the raids were carried out nationwide and led to the discovery of 28 significant arms caches.

He said 255 of the raids were joint operations, while 143 were carried out by Iraqi forces alone. The raids also resulted in the captures of 759 "anti-Iraqi elements."

This is AMAZING...the terrorists are really on the run now, and the Iraqi army is starting to pull its weight. Since Dem's claim to support the troops and do not want the US to fail, I'm sure we will see Kerry, Dean, Pelosi, Clinton and Murtha praising these events any minute now...along with the libs here to congratulate the troops on this page.

Iraq Announces Info From Al-Zarqawi Raid
Iraq's national security adviser said Thursday a "huge treasure" of documents and computer records was seized after the raid on terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's hideout, giving the Iraqi government the upper hand in its fight against al-Qaida in Iraq.

National Security Adviser Mouwafak al-Rubaie also said he believed the security situation in the country would improve enough to allow a large number of U.S.-led forces to leave Iraq by the end of this year, and a majority to depart by the end of next year. "And maybe the last soldier will leave Iraq by mid-2008," he said.

This is the way to do it...you leave when things are stable...which they might not be completely yet. You don't leave because it is a certain day on the calendar. Man to the Dem's get it wrong often.

Lets see how the MSM covers this....I'm positive not with the fervor and excitement they do when we mess up. If we had a media like we did during WWII, 80% of the American people would have a favorable impression of the war right now.

I'd like to know something. Why do you continue to take stories that are clearly a non-partisan issue, and are not to do with politics in general, say nothing about how each party stands on the issue, and turn them into a liberal-bashing thread?

Amazing. Your lack of intelligence is exceeded only by your lack of real manhood -- one would think that since you are so politics-based here and want to bash liberals so badly, you'd at least pick something clearly that is political between libs & neocons and debate that, but oh no... A real man would dare to do this.

And why do you always say "I could just see what liberals would say on this" when you clearly have no clue of what they'd say?

Why should you have to say that, if you were bringing up stories that liberals were taking a sucko stance on?

This is the way we sway the public, sway the public, sway the public...

It's called "a liberal, (person) did say (whatever it was) (according to this link)

You still don't get it, do you?

Oh wait, there's very little of that to find. I see.

YES!!!!
These stories of good news in Iraq must be even worse for the Dems than I thought...given dedanna's swearing and yelling.

What you said is so lacking in intellect that I shouldn't respond. This is a story about what is good in Iraq. Democrats only comment only when things go bad in Iraq. That is my position. This post was meant to show that...you are helping me prove that, so thanks.

This is a partisan issue. Dem's are against the war and want us to run away, Republicans want us to win and leave when things are stable enough to leave...

You must have went to public school

And before you say I am lying again Ron and Jim, show me all the stories and quotes of Dem's praising the military for this latest good news..show me quotes of Dem's plans for WINNING in Iraq...
otherwise save your new liberal talking point words

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Damn straight, Game!

The terrorists have made many mistakes in the war on terror and are suffering major setbacks right now.

Their only hope is to give up their strategic goals and blow stuff for the media to convince the coalition to leave. But as we train more and more Iraqis, allies of terror in the United States (i.e. dedanna, Jim, etc.) will become less important.

I know, that's a lie, Jim will say. He doesn't like the terrorists, but unfortunately, he doesn't mind helping them attain their objectives.

Jason, I'm just going to stop wasting energy replying to your bullshit. You used to have intelligent things to say.

Game, Dedanna has a point about your claiming "what liberals will say." You gave me links yesterday and they were crap. But at least you did try.

And unless you are joking, you should watch your disparaging remarks about a public school education:

"You must have went to public school"

Better get your money back!

Game, I asked weeks ago for you to define "winning in Iraq". Did you actaully define "winning in Iraq"? If so, could you repeat your definition?

The Game said...

Jim,
can you not comment on the content of my post???
And winning in Iraq means that the Iraqi's are able to have the govt they want...one that does not crumble because it is not ready yet, and terrorists from other arab countries can come in and take over...
you SHOULD be saying that you are happy things are going well...because THEN...we can leave AND win...
unles the Democratic position righ now which is leave and lose

As a liberal, I have to certainly concur that the killing of Al-Zarqawi might be the "straw" that turned this thing around in Iraq. The recent findings (papers, diskfiles, etc.) and captured killed Al-Qaida operatives are ample testimony that now is not the time to pull back or heavens-to-betsy pullout. W have them in a box; let's squeeze the box tight!

WOW...well done...
especially if you are a liberal
If Democrats stopped worrying ONLY about getting power back and started worrying about the safety of this country and the world...things would get done better and quicker

for jim: that comment is completely valid..there are NO NO NO NO, not ONE Dem saying what this liberal just said....if Kerry and all the other idiots would say stuff like this...the world would see America as strong and unified...because of the stupid demands to pull out now, we look week and it gives terrorists hope...
