First of all, I'm sure everyone here would like to say thank you to any soldiers still alive, and to the US military for saving the world.
Now, just think what would have happened if the modern day liberal had been born back then...there is no doubt in my mind we would have lost WWII....
That is the only enemy the US military can not defeat. Pussy liberals were not created yet, so we won, since there were no liberals undermining our military every single day like they are now.
Just imagine everyone nit-picking everything the military did back then....
The media was pro-American, and anti-enemy...it is clear that now it is the opposite...period.
Why run stories 24-7 about 1% of soldiers and not the other 99%???
Why not mention all the terrible things the terrorists and other enemies of the US commit???
Oh, I know why, because it does hurt GWB...thats the only reason why.

It's too bad that the Marine infantryman you cite is too dense to understand the difference between the men and the mission. I suppose that if GWB sent the troops to wipe out every man, woman, and child in some Iraq city, we would have to support that mission as well if we are to support the troops.

In the Baghdad area, pollsters found the percentage of optimists had fallen by half since March 2005, to about 30 percent.
The rate of insurgent attacks is higher now than it was in 2004, with an average of more than 600 a week since the new government took over in February. . . Meanwhile, the Shiites are fighting back with equal viciousness, and the Pentagon numbers show a sharp rise in sectarian killings over the past year.
