Attacking BOTH sides

Okay, I have a few issues, and both sides are going to get it:

On the Right:
I am not sure I am with you guys 100% when Republicans say the tax revenue should not go up AT ALL from year to year.
To run the SAME services from year to year, you would have to raise tax revenue atleast 2% (just for inflation). I agree, govt wastes WAY to much money and has way to many liberal programs that do nothing. However, it seems to me (atleast in Milwaukee county) that most things that can be cut have been...so I don't have a problem with govt collecting 2-3 percent more taxes every year...
Tell me where I'm wrong....

On the Left:
Two issues
Number one: Liberals love to say they care about people and they help minorities...However, it is their very own liberal programs that have created vast communities of self-made government dependents. Welfare, food stamps, the projects, along with all the excuses liberals make for poor and minority community failures...it all keeps them poor. Now, some will say that is the way the DNC wants it, keep them poor and stupid so they keep voting for us....That could be true...but that is not the issue here.
I wish liberals who never deal with the people they "help" could see what damage their philosophy of life and their implementation of liberalism through govt has created generations of hopelessness...

Number two: stem cell research. I don't care about this issue, and I'll tell you why. Stem cell research is not illegal. Bush's veto didn't do anything to stop stem cell research. No one objects to adult stem cells being used. When Bush took office, the federal govt gave 0 dollars to stem cell research and now they do give money. So what are the liberals crying about? They don't know, they just think they can hurt GWB and the Right. Asshole Doyle is running an ad with a mother telling Mark Green that because of him her daughter will never be cured of diabetes. Now, that thought process should really make you mad. The only thing Bush's veto did was not allow federal funds for embryonic stem cell research. NO stem cell research has been stopped, no law has been passed banning it. And liberals who make commercials this fall with kids in wheelchairs saying republicans want them to be in wheelchairs forever should be ashamed of yourselves...but you have no shame, because all you care about is power...If I was wrong, you would bash people like Doyle who exploit people with disabilities to win re-election. Because if Doyle is smart enough to tie his shoes, he knows nothing has been stopped, and NOT ONE cure or better treatment has been found so far from ANY embryonic stem cell research....

To criticize Bush's opponents with "but you have no shame, because all you care about is power" shows either incredible naivete or the height of hypocricy.

I'm laughing so hard, I'm not sure if I'll be able to post anymore tonight.

you should be crying since it is the only logical explanation as to why liberals make no sense in their positions...

Game--

Well, there are several reasons why the Democratic Party takes the positions it does. Special interest groups like trial lawyers, big labor, the NOW, the NAACP and so forth play a big role, along with uppity suburban guilty people who vote for conscience issues to give their lives meaning. You know, an affluent suburban professional may demand that American forces leave Iraq, not because they think it will lead to good consequences (many openly will admit they don't care about the consequences) but to give themselves a feeling that they're making a positive difference.

I agree with you that the leadership of the Democrats -- the Jesse Jacksons, the Clintons, the Kerrys and so forth -- are completely opportunistic and care for nothing except power.

jason GREAT point...
much of what the average liberal does is based on feelings and emotion...
It feels wrong to kill, even though war is needed to make peace...

What a load of horse manure!

So it's OK for the right to vote according to their morals but wrong for the left to vote their conscience. Is that it? Can you explain this?
