Weekend free for all

Say what you want...but if a liberal can PROVE that Bush LIED I would be impressed...
Remember, you would have to show Bush saying somewhere he KNEW what he was saying about WMD's (which we found) was wrong....
Saying something that is not true is not necessarily a lie...
Hey, its summer, I'm on vacation...I should not have to be giving free lessons here on vocabulary...

How about this?

STEPHANOPOULOS: The White House said they briefed the Congress on this matter and there is no law called into question. Do you believe that a law is called into question and that this program might have been illegal?

FEINSTEIN: Well, I’m on the Intelligence Committee. I can tell you when I was briefed and when the committee was briefed — and that was when it became apparent that the New York Times had the story and was going to run it. And that’s when and why they came to us and briefed us.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So you knew nothing about it before the New York Times was asking questions?

FEINSTEIN: That’s correct.

you have transcript of two liberals talking to eachother...what does that mean?

A) You cannot demonstrate that Stephanopoulos is a liberal just because he asks questions.

B) Are you calling Senator Feinstein a liar? Can you prove that she is a liar.

When Sean Hannity talks to Senator Rick Santorem, what does that mean? That Santorum is lying? (Bad example, I know, because if either of them opens their mouth they are almost always lying.)

the WH said the congress was briefed and they were, not following...
And I am not saying she is lying, but there were quite a few times that Kerry said things during the 2004 election about being briefed and what he knew when that ended up being wrong...
I don't know when they were briefed...and Feinstein might not either...
I understand they get told so much damn stuff there is no way they can remember it all...like Kerry couldn't in 2004...
I guess I'm not seeing the groundbreaking stuff you obviously think it is...
and if the WH is flat out lying about what they said, I would be very disappointed

and Stephanopoulos is a liberal because...
he flat out is one
he worked for Clinton

He quit his job with Clinton, game. Oh, and Nine Inch Nails was an awesome show, tonight. Bauhaus hasnt lost anything, either.

Jim said...

So Dick Morris is a liberal? I don't think so. David Gergen worked for Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Clinton. He's no liberal either.

Stephanopoulos does not express his opinions on TV or radio. He does analysis and asks questions.

You have no legitimate grounds for calling him a liberal. And it's a stretch to call Feinstein a liberal, too.

And even so, it's irrelevant.

WHAT WHAT WHAT!!!!!!!!!
Feinstein is not a liberal....if you really believe that....I am at a loss for words...
It is true that Morris is not a liberal anymore...actually I am not sure he ever was...he was just the kind sleezeball...

Jim said...

Well we agree there. Morris is a sleazeball. However, Democrat does not equal Liberal. If you look at Feinstein's record, you cannot legitimately call her a liberal.

if I feel I have enough energy, I'll look up some key votes...don't care enough to do that right now

Saying something that is not true is not necessarily a lie? Since when?

What are you, in second grade?

I'll make this reeeeeaaaaaally easy to understand.

Billy may state that Joey threw something at him and believe it, when Bobby actually was the one who threw something at Billy. Billy states a falsehood, but he is not lying.

A lie is not necessarily a simple falsehood. It requires the intention of deceiving. That's what liberals have not demonstrated with respect to the Bush administration.

Excuse you, but a lie by omission is still a lie.

Uh, actually we have many times. You may not accept our assertions, but in order to reject them you MUST conclude that Bush and Rice are incompetent. Or both. I will stipulate that Cheney is not incompetent. He is a liar.
