Wisconsin State Fair Day 6: Tuesday August 8th

Grandstand review:
Well, over 9,000 people were shaking their " Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" at the Wisconsin State Fair as a part of FM 106 Country Fest. A great time was had by all.

The great thing about country stars and country music is the close personal relationship between the artists and the fans. They all have meet and greets, they all mostly down to earth real people.

Eric Church started off the night playing about 35 minutes. He is brand new to country music, so the crowd didn't get too much into it until he played his big hit "how bout you"

Chris Cagle was a surprise. I didn't realize how many hits this guy has. The crowd was dancing and singing along for almost an hour to hits like, My love goes on and on, Loredo, I breath in, What a beautiful day, Chicks dig it, Miss me Baby, and Anywhere but here...

Trace came on the stage to thunderous applause. He had the crowd Dancing and singing for well over an hour. When he played Honky Tonk Badonkadonk the crowd went crazy. This is a big man as well. He is 6 foot 6, and he seems like the kind of guy who would not mind mixing it up. In fact, he did a little speech about respecting the armed forces and sang his song "Arlington" as a tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country. They he mentioned that no one should bad mouth or disrespect our military, and if there is anyone who wants to show disrespect, he can take them out back and teach them a lesson. I bet he can. Here is some of the set list: Every light in the House is on (favorite trace song), I left something turned on at home, Chrome, Songs about me, and This aint no thinkin thang.
