I think it is amazing that the Senate Dem's wrote a letter basically threatening ABC's license and every thing said by any Dem's in this case threatens lawsuit.
When the Reagan show was getting heat, did Senate Republicans write a letter as a collective group?
Again, what are they afraid of? Clinton deserves some blame...its debatable how much, but definitely some.

That's the difference between us and them.
If Republicans don't like what someone is saying in the marketplace, like Michael Moore's movies that are filled with falsehoods, lies, and misrepresentations-- we may encourage people not to see it, but we aren't going to censor it.
Democrats have this USSR mentality where they must censor everything for the common good-- they aren't confident that their case can stand on its own, so they try to use the government to ban everything that isn't their way 100%.
Think why they hate Fox News so much.
Yeah it's all the Democrats criticizing, "Democrats" like:
John Podhoretz
James Taranto
Dean Barnett
Chris Wallace
William Bennet
The story was about Clinton and Senate Dem's trying to stop the movie from going on the air...focus Jim, focus
Yeah anything that proves you wrong game, and you have to shut it out.
Go look up those that jim mentioned, and see what party they are affiliated with, and you'll see what the real point is.
Criticizing a movie is one thing, using political pressure to censor out things you don't like is another.
Only Democrats do it.
No one is trying to "censor" anything in this, jason. What they are (were) trying to do, was get ABC to state the facts accurately. There's a huge difference. That is not censoring -- it's correcting for accuracy -- something each major network should be doing. It wasn't asked that the scenes be deleted altogether, only that if they were going to be shown, show them accurately.
And that's not political pressure they used, just political influence. Everyday people like you & me have the same right to request that facts be shown accurately on the airwaves. What, you & I can have that right, but no one else can?
