I Sergent in Iraq goes to discount-mats.com asking if it ships to military addresses.
The owner of the company responds:
We would NEVER ship to Iraq. If you were sensible, you and your troops would pull out of Iraq.
Nothing is reported until Mark Belling picks up on the story last week Friday. Finally, the Milwaukee JS reports on the story.
The obvious story is that a company sends disrespectful emails to military and refuses service because they are in the military.
The liberal who writes the story makes the slime ball who owns the business the victim.
He is getting vulgar emails threatening him....lets see those emails.
They fear for their safety...what about the safety of the soldiers in Iraq. Have their been more soldiers killed in Iraq or more Muslims killed in West Allis?
The people getting upset are taking away the Muslim's free speech. What about MY free speech to think this guy is a scum bag.
As always, when a liberal says something it is free speech. When a conservative say something, it is hate speech.

It was not the owner, it was an employee who sent the reply. This was the act of a single employee. An deplorable act for which the owner says the employee is being held accountable.
End of story. Except for people who jump to wrong conclusions and then send hate mail or call the owner a "slime ball". Who would DO that?

It's just another example of liberal distaste for the military which in this case manifests in a seriously asshole way. However, I wouldn't wager against the sentiment being held amongst a more widespread segment of the liberal population. How big a segment is where I wouldn't care to wager. I'd hope it's no bigger than the number of Sheehan supporters, but again, I ain't gonna wager on it.
This was the act of an asshole. His political persuasion is not indicated or proved by the incident or the reporting of it. For all we know this was an 18-year old high on glue.
I can't imagine a liberal reacting to this request in this way out of political conviction.

Just like the many examples of conservative distate for the FBI and the ATF, right? Sure there are fringe elements on the left who don't like the military. But to paint all liberals with that brush is nonsense.
Most of the people in this country don't like what our current "leadership" is doing with and to the military, but that dislike does not carry over to the military itself.
