Edwards Wants Probe of High Gas Prices

This shows how Dem's don't get it at all.
They either don't understand or don't want to believe that their emotion based decisions affect the entire world.
"We can't hurt animals in the middle of nowhere in Alaska"
Result: We can't drill ANYWHERE in the most powerful country in the world to help meet our energy needs.
"I hate BIG oil, refineries are ugly and somehow hurt the environment"
Result: We can't even refine the oil we do have, and the little thing supply and demand makes oil cost $4 a gallon.
"I believe nuclear energy is dangerous"
Result: Even though there has NEVER been a major problem with nuclear power plants in the United States liberals get everyone scared about it, so we don't make new ones, hurting our countries ability to make energy. Even FRANCE is not scared of nuclear energy.

Liberals just go with what feels good, what emotionally satisfies them. They either don't have the ability or desire to use reason and see that the decisions they make have consequences. They keep hurting the poor people they pretend to care about by doing things that keep our gas costing so much.
Call your nearest liberal today and thank them for having gas prices so high.

In addition...liberals LIKE the fact that gas prices are high. Many have admitted it here on this page. Fakes like Edwards need to pretend to NOT be true liberals because 80% of the American people would instantly hate him. So he has to PRETEND to be mad at high gas prices...things you have to do to get elected..

These people who hate refineries, who hate nuclear power stations, who hate drilling in remote locations -- claim they are standing against the "Assault on Reason."

Leftists aren't exactly what we can call critical thinkers.

Game,

One thing you left out. The Democrats claim we went to war for oil. If that was true, where the hell is the oil, and how the hell do we refine it when our refineries are running at max capacity now?

Jim and Jay, you are welcome to put your Democrat talking point in here. Just don't be surprised when it is nuked.

Hasn't this brainiac Breck girl ever heard of "supply and demand"?

Sheesh! What a buffoon!

As Bill Maher said, "Wouldn't you know it that George W. Bush is the only president who could go to war for oil and not get any."

And I guess that proves Bill O'Reilly is a buffoon (but we already knew that) because he's all hot and bothered by the oil companies manipulating gasoline prices.

Wouldn't you know it that Bill Maher makes a stupid statement revolving around a lie about Bush going to Iraq for the oil? Wouldn't you know it that Jim would think it clever?

I don't believe that the US went into Iraq to get Iraq's oil. I believe the US went into Iraq to establish a powerful presence in the region that they thought would bring stability to ensure continued and future production of the oil for the world markets there.

Most experts believed pre-invasion that this policy wouldn't work and would bring about the opposite results. They have been proven to be correct.

Instead of increased CAFE standards and major increases in alternative energy sources to reduce the US dependence on oil, Bush is spending our children's lives and leaving our children and grandchildren with a huge debt.
