Don't forget, the Democrats still won't pass a clean funding bill for the Military. It is not their priority. What is their priority is the pork and pet Democrat agendas they are attaching to the bill. You know, all of Murtha's earmarks that benefit Murtha and his clients.
Gobal warming is the perfect issue for Dems. They can do a lot or a little and for all the good it actually does (or doesn't do), they can puff their chests and claim they care. It's too vast an issue to ever really know whether their actions have any impact, but it doesn't negate that they're doing all they can no matter how much they're doing (because you know a ribbon on the lapel proves they care). And it'll never be resolved in our lifetimes so they can't be judged by their peers for any failures. It's all show and no substance and there's no real risk to themselves.

I find it funny how the apocalyptic gloom and doom goes away in the MSM when people like Clinton and Gore are in power.
