Summerfest Moment
You know these. They are the defining moments that make your visit to Summerfest unique for the year. The only reason I went this year was to see the Smart booth. OK, I admit it, that's sad, but I am interested in that car and they are in town on their Smart tour for only the opening weekend of SummerFest. After visiting the booth and getting a free T-shirt in exchange for my opinions on the car, I walk around a bit to get a beer and people watch. At about 9:00 PM, as I am getting my second beer of the night, and I feel a tugging on my sleeve. It is a woman I've never seen before, and she has a mischeivous look on her face as she says (in an Aussie accent) "My baby, I can't find me baby, please help me." I replied (with a straight face) "Maybe a dingo ate yer baby. I'm sorry."
She went back to her friends that put her up to this, laughing and giggling.
